Easy Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 box spaghetti
  • 1 (8-oz) brick of cream cheese
  • 1 (24-oz) jar of pasta sauce
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • Pepperoni slices (1 package, optional)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Bring pot of salted water to a boil (about a teaspoon salt). Boil pasta in a pot (follow cook time directions on the box).

Meanwhile, combine the jar of sauce and cream cheese in a large skillet over low heat. Keep stirring until fully incorporated and heated throughout.

Drain the pasta into a big bowl, pour the sauce/cheese mixture over the top of the pasta, and mix together (carefully— it’s splatter time). Pour it all into a 9” x 13” (standard size) baker. Bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the dish from the oven and arrange fresh basil leaves and/or pepperoni across the top. Top with fresh provolone and put back in the oven for 10-12 more minutes. Remove & let cool a few minutes to set before slicing and serving.
