"Sometimes the inspiration to create a piece of jewelry comes from simply stepping outside the door and taking in my surroundings. A double-winged dragonfly in our front garden is the main inspiration for this design. The appearance of dragonflies in my garden fascinates and thrills me every year because they remind me of fairies with their variety of wing shapes and colors. This dragonfly symbolizes dreams, change, and enlightenment."
