Great bar! Great workouts!
Got this bar because after I start working out for a while, I want to add more weight for more of a challenge and build a little more muscle and strength. The total gym itself has been awesome so far. I added hammock swivel hooks to my handles so this way the cables never twist and stay straight. Works even better. Great workout system! Happy with it!

Total Gym weight bar
This bar works great with the Total Gym Fit I ordered from QVC. It allows you to add weight and resistance to your workout without increasing the incline on the machine which can make some exercises more comfortable than a steeper incline. You will also need to purchase 1" weight clips to go on the ends to hold the weight in place while in use which does not come with the bar.

it works for TG XLS and few others. Very good
I have Total Gym XLS and I need a weight bar, however, description says that it is not compatible with TG XLS, but when I checked the specs, it was 1 inch x 29 inch which means it will fit into the holes of XLS. Not only that it is 5 inch longer than the original weight bar that I bought. I always thought that original XLS weight bar was too short because you can only put so many weights and also no place to put your feet on.
I thought that extra 5 inch will really help in many ways.
So, I called the customer service of QVC. A lady I talked to, she said that it won't fit and it won't work, not knowing the specification of the bar and Total Gym XLS. I was guessing that she was going repeating what the description said on the web page. (they need better customer service people who really knows about what they are talking about). Anyway, regardless what she said, I bought it.
When it got home, I worked to perfection, as I had expected it. It fits perfect and extra 5 inch gave me more length for weights and my feet.
Definitely it works awesome for my Total Gym XLS

Doesn't Fit Total Gym SUPREME
I was excited to add this accessory to my brand new 20th Anniversary Total Gym Supreme. And even in the description box, which listed units that it won't fit; it did not state that its Not Compatible with the Supreme. That's the only model QVC is currently selling. It's a bummer because this would have been a great addition for my home gym use.
