Love my Island!
I needed something to fill in the open space in my kitchen and this was the perfect choice! It was very easy to put together and it everything was labeled and easy to follow directions. I love everything about it!

This is a beautiful kitchen island, sturdy, and I just love it. The wood is beautiful and it fits in my kitchen just right. Everyone that comes into my home always comments on it. If you need a kitchen island, I would highly recommend this. The fact that the leaf goes up for more space allows me more room to make cookies, cakes, etc. especially with my grandchildren. Can't say enough good things about this product.

Best Purchase Ever
This is an amazing piece of furniture. Took about 35 minutes to assemble and is of great quality. We shopped for a kitchen island for months and at several furniture stores and nothing could compare to this item. Thank you QVC!

THIS WAS THE EASIEST PIECE OF FURNITURE WE EVER ASSEMBLED. IT ONLY TOOK 2HRS EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.. AND LOOKED BEAUTIFUL WHEN FINISHED IT COMPLETES MY KITCHEN .

The finish is not distressed. It is stark white. The oak top has some distressing. This is a problem since the china cabinet sitting next to it is distressed - and does not match.
But the real problem is the statement that the top and base ship fully assembled. THEY ARE NOT. The top is assembled, but the base is in two huge boxes in many pieces. I did not have the tools or the knowledge to assemble. I did have someone come to my house to do that, but once assembled, the doors do not close properly. They are not aligned properly, and I do not believe the person who assembled is to blame. But, once hours of labor are spent, and the darned thing is sitting there, it isn't possible to "box and ship back". This was/is a nightmare and I will never order furniture from QVC again. (I have been a loyal happy QVC customer for 20 years. But, this mess was unacceptable.)
