Just like Mom's
I have been eating Claxton fruit cakes for many years. They are as good as my mother made. Packed with fruit and nuts. The big cherries are my favorite part of the cake. They were sold in select grocery stores. I'm happy to see QVC now has them available.

Packed Full W/ Goodness
This box was heavy....five loaves were PACKED with big chunks of nuts and fruits. Very moist, almost underbaked, sticky, gooey, delicious...not cake-like at all...more like baked pudding. Very sweet...as others stated here...only need small slices at a time.

Full of fruit nuts and flavor!
I have been eating Claxton’s fruitcakes since the early 1960’s. It was always a staple during the holidays in our house when I was growing up. Now I always have 2 or 3 bars in the freezer year round because I never want to run out. I am so glad to see that QVC is carrying it even people who are not fans of fruitcake in general come to enjoy it.

This cake is so delicious it's hard not to eat it up. Very good rich flavor, I will definitely buy this cake again.

DRY NASTY TASTING - YUK
I love fruit cake. Fruit cake is usually the punch line in a bad joke. Perhaps the bad name that fruit cake has is that the baker of this fruit cake, since 1910, has been the fruit cake people have been eating. However, I was expecting a moist fruit cake that had a good taste. Upon delivery the fruit cake was opened and tasted within 15 minutes, and oh, what a disappointment. Immediately called Customer Service to return.

Look forward to these each year
My husband and I look forward to these every year. They are delicious not to heavy but has the right amount of fruit to cake. We keep them in the refrigerator and they keep for months.
