Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings Sound is pretty much as I expected. SIgnature Bose flat sound but a little punchier than QC 35s. Not a hge improvement but QC 35s are already good to begin with, assuming you are ok with flat signature sound. Noise canceling is top notch and I'd say its a tie between these and the Sony top end Mark 3s. Bose is known for this and made sure you have to have some other reason to go for Sony coz it matches it in NC toe to toe. And then there's the new design. First of all, I dig the look. Although its not the classic Bose design we are used to, It is simple and elegant and I find it refreshing. And it is as comfortable as ever to wear for longer periods but the only qualm I have stems from this new design. I religiously wear my QC 35s long periods even in the office and if I have to talk with someone, I just move the earcup a little off the ear and it will stay however long the coversation lasts and i put it back over my ears. But these new ones, because of the new design, they have to increase the pressure on the ear cups. Somehow its not uncomfortable to wear but when I move one cup even slightly off ear to have a quick conversation with someone, the force make them snap off and fall from my head. So, I've to take them completely off or hold them. may not be an issue for some but for someone ho wears it all the time, this kind of a big deal. I just don't feel as confident wearing them as QC 35s. I hope Bose takes notice. This is kind of a big miss from them in the sense that they messed with something that was already good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great headphones, but app totally useless I purchased the Bose 700 Noise Cancelling Headphones yesterday and, with the exception of the Bose Music app, I am very pleased with them. I only wish that the app had worked for me. When I downloaded the app and opened it, the first screen that appears states that my iPhone must be connected to WiFi in order for the app to work. That’s news to me since there is no mention of a WiFi requirement anywhere in the Bose 700 Headphone instruction manual. I live in a very rural area and do not have WiFi. I access the Internet through a cellular connection on my iPhone. Luckily, I was able to pair the headphones with my phone, only after deleting the app. So, while I am currently able to enjoy my music, I feel as though I paid full price for only half of the package. Is there some kind of workaround so that I can use the app? It would have been nice to know, in advance, that the Bose Music app is worthless without WiFi. That also means that I won’t be able to install any future firmware updates. Annoying, to say the least.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as comfortable as QC25/35 , voice call is wow I think a design of Bose 700 is flaw, the clam force is so tight, the ear cups face up when you wear around your neck. The ear cup is smaller than QC25/35. Buttons are easy to be push unintentionally. The noise canceling is a little bit better but create ear pressure. And it is hot. The biggest plus is the voice call , i was driving under the thunderstorm and the people on the other end couldn’t tell if i was in the car. I am the business travel in long flight 20+ hours, never has issues with QC25/35 they are so comfortable. The NC700 is so hot. However the voice call made me to keep this pair. If you don’t have a lot of meetings . Don’t buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Companion while traveling This is the third pair Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones I purchase. Every time I am amazed by the sound quality they provide, Once I move to the new unit, I passed them on to my family members and they love every bit of them. Every one is better than the previous model: This is innovation !! With my new 700 Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones model, I Took a long haul trip to and from Germany... it did all in one charge... and still there is power available.. once they are stored; it will hold the charge left for months. This time I enjoy the noise cancel level control and the possibility of doing the changes with the touch of my finger, same as the volume.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never Fly without them I think I've owned just about every model of the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones and use them on all flights and now even at home some. Only thing on the 700 model, I'd like to see a longer battery life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Utter disappointment As I am sure you know, your App is utterly unable to deliver the features and Brand Values you trumpet on your website. Despite your vaunted app updates, I cannot connect to the App unless connected to wireless, which doesn’t help when travelling. I don’t think you really thought people would want to have to choose which devices they may wish to use daily before leaving g the house. I am sick of rebooting the app, clearing the device list and starting again, all to no avail. Shameful and pitiful.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Bit Disappointing I switched from a pair of Beats studios to these and I was super excited to try out my first pair of Bose headphones. When I got them they did not meet my expectations. They do not get close to loud enough, especially for someone who goes to the gym or listens to bangers. The physical buttons are a bit funky to me and the touch pad is so freakin annoying. I can not lay in bed or accidentally touch the sides of my headphones to anything without pausing or skipping forward a song. If I sat still all day I would love the noise quality and cancelation, which is great. For an active 20 year old I would not recommend them unless you have an alternate pair to workout in or take on the move. App is still a little buggy too and I cant wear them while charing. Battery life and dual pairing is great.
