Tignanello Pebble Leather Convertible Shoulder Bag w/ Braided Accent
Best Bag Ever
Love this bag, can't say enough about it. PLEASE get it back in more colors. Have several tig bags they are all fab, suggest more mid size cross body.
frayed shoulder strap
While I like the bag overall, the edge of the strap started to fray about a month after I started using the purse. A year later, the strap is in pretty bad shape to the point I am going to stop using the purse. The rest of the purse has worn very well.
Yep I said it, I could have found a bag at Wal-Mart better than this bag. I was VERY disappointed at not only the size but the quality of the supposed leather. It felt like a man made material. Immediately it went back in the box and out the door. YUCK. Run away from this bag and save your money. If you are used to the Florentine leather that Dooney and Bourke puts out, then you will be upset of the quality of this leather. I know I was. It put a bad taste in my mouth for Tignaello. My first experience and defiantly my last.
Peeling Shoulder Straps
Love the look of this bag. Love the convenience of the convertible shoulder strap. Hate that the edging on the shoulder straps is falling off after 7 months of gentle use. Tignanello customer service replied by email that they do not offer any warranty on their products. When a company will not stand behind their products, they make the decision very easy...no more Tignanello bags for me.
Whats up with the strap
I purchased this in 2013 as well and my strap is peeling too. I love this bag but the strap which I used in both ways, cross body (my favor way), and over the shoulder, so the strap should have been built better. I can only hope that when Tignanello makes another bag like this that they pay special attention to the strap. And yes I probably will buy another bag like this because being a mother of 3 and needing to use both hands, the cross body is what I need.
Love everything BUT the strap
I bought this in April 2013 and the shoulder strap is peeling. Interesting because it was was sold as all leather. The strap is actually a coated fabric. I love everything else about this bag, especially the Zinc color.
Will try to contact the manufacturer!
Great Bag But
I love this bag but think it would be perfect if it had the back wallet. Ithink the back wallet is the greatest thing about Tig smaller bags. Should they add this I would get another color because I do like this size in crossbody.
I bought this bag in April 2013 and really loved it. I could not wait until summer to bring it out again. Then I noticed the shoulder strap breaking. I took it to a leather repair shop to see what they could do for it and was informed it was a PLASTIC strap. I paid good money for this bag and believed that it was a "convertible leather strap" as stated in your write-up. Now I notice that I am not the only one with this problem.
I was looking forward to purchasing another Tignanello bag but no more after this experience!
While this bag is beautiful, it was just okay to me. I have several friends and family members who absolutely love this bag! I guess it's just personal preference, as I do prefer my bags to be a little more structured, and hold their shape when I set it down. This one just more or less flops over and loses it's shape. I do have to say that the leather is very pretty and soft. I really, really wanted to love this bag. The anticipation of waiting for it to be delivered, and continuing to look at the pictures until it came, really amped me up, but also set me up for disappointment :-( I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. Definitely not as much as I wanted to, but I am keeping it because it's so pretty. Although, now I don't think I'll be buying multiples in other colors, as I originally planned. Again, it's a great bag, and I'm sure there are tons of folks who it would suit just fine, or even love it! But, I'm really picky, so it was just OK to me.
I bought this bag when it first was offered on the Q or I do believe that I did…
As the price is much higher than I paid.. I usually don't pay a lot for bags I did this time and I do see the difference in the workmanship when you do pay a bit more…
I do get complements on it each time I use it … My daughter don't usually say much about my stuff but she came over one day and did remark how pretty the bag was… I don't usually buy a color this time I went out on a limb and tried it… The color is ok I got the purple or whatever that was called I like the color so that is all that matters if I were in my mid 20's I buy all kinds of colors…
Dont' know if this is allowd but for the lady who is getting scratches on it and is thinking of buying dye why dont you try a paint marker they are pricey but that should work try it first in an area your not going to see a lot on the opposite side of the shoulder strap just some advice… For the one that the bag is falling apart on call c/s you just never know they may work with you and return it… I dont know but its worth a shot I woiuld try it and have the outcome was very positive…
Thanks for the good work Qvc we Love you all.. you all work so hard to bring us the great items you do the best part is you don't need to leave your home Great for the Disable as myself..
Color Scratching Off
I have the violet purse, love the size. Every little scuff mark scratches off the color, leaving a dirty pink mark. I will be keeping this since it's to late to return. Maybe I'll find some purple leather dye to cover the marks.
Depends on color
This is the 2nd bag I bought like this one. I bought the 2nd one in Cognac. I can't get used to it, so it will be going back. I think the Cognac looks cheap. That's why only 3 stars. But, I also bought it in black and love the black bag.
I think it depends on the color with this one. I would love to see this bag in color-blocking.
