Rated 4 out of 5 by Wvtn Great bed, but Don't get split king though
I thought split King would be best for us because I need more elevation than my husband does. However one mattress constantly slid over off the base, and there was always a gap between us. I ended up sending it back after trying several things, and plan to get a full King next time.

We have had our sleep number bed 4 months. I have a medical condition which prevented me from sleeping in a regular bed for 9 years as I have to sleep sitting up. This bed was a godsend for me. I cried the first night I could sleep back in bed with my husband. He has quit snoring completely and loves the bed too. A tip: We were told by the sleep number people that the bed should always be at 100 when doing anything where you are sitting on the sides ie to dress or whatever, so you don't wear down the foam encircling the chambers. My husband is a 65-70 and I am a 45. It may not be for everyone, but it is perfection for us.

We've have the split king adjustable bed now for about 2 months, and we both love it. We got it so my husband could raise his side to help with his breathing. It has definitely helped. Last night while he was sleeping, I raised it up to help him and he didn't even wake up. We had a Sleep Number bed prior to buying this one. We had been looking in their store, but this was a better price. The adjustable base was a little involved to put together , but the mattress was easy. Make sure you get QVC'S split king sheets at the same time. They are great to sleep on , and very reasonable when on sale. My husband likes a hard bed, and I am soft one ,so we would have trouble with a regular mattress. We even bought one for our motor home, because any other way ended up with a back ache for someone. You may think it is pricey but the last one we had for 20 years. Now going to daughter. If you are to replace every 8 years, you do the math. This works out better. Never really had any problems with it either. Great buy and definitely a great sleep.

We have had our Sleep Number Bed for about a month and this bed is the best bed ever and we have had some real nice beds including a Tempurpedic memory foam jto accommodate my husband's bad back. My husband and I can be comfortable in the same bed using our individual sleep number; he is a 65-70 and I am a 30-35. We can get in and out of bed without disturbing each other. The adjustability is wonderful for reading, watching TV, and just relaxing before going to sleep. Another plus is we saved a couple thousand dollars by purchasing our bed from QVC (free delivery, we assembled it ourselves, and the TSV price) rather than the Sleep Number Store. The Sunday this was a TSV, we visited our local Sleep Number Store to compare beds. The store representative was very helpful and told us which bed in the store compared to the QVC TSV so we were able to try it. This bed is one of our best purchases from QVC. Our only regret is not purchasing a sleep number bed sooner.

After seeing the bed advertised we decided to get one....split king. We absolutely love our bed. I have to fight our dog for my foot space! She thinks my side is her space. My husband has had a spinal fusion and it has helped him to sleep better. It doesn't take his pain away but makes it tolerable so he can sleep.

We always wanted a Sleep Number bed and were thrilled when it was the TSV. We had a Tempur-Pedic bed and were looking for something a bit softer and with the Adjustable feature. We had it assembled in about 2 hours and gave away our Tempur-Pedic bed. During the assembly we noticed that the materials did not look to be high quality but we assumed that when all was put together the bed would be wonderful. When you assemble the mattress you must insert the border which defines the shape of the mattress. These foam border cushions create the area that the inflatable bladder sets between. What this means is that unless you have the mattress inflated to 100% you are recessing into the space defined by the border - and this is a much smaller area. My husband is 6'4" and his feet hang over the edge of the bed and this did not happen with our previous bed. I like a soft setting and it feels like I am sleeping in a hole. We like to watch TV and talk in bed before we go to sleep every night and we can't even sit close to each other with the Split King. There are 2 fairly thin layers of foam that lay over the bladder - this is very skimpy considering the cost of this bed. We expected a luxurious sleeping experience and this is not what this bed delivered. All I can say is we are heartsick that we gave away our other bed. We have ordered a new bed and are returning the Sleep Number bed. This has been a very disappointing experience. QVC Customer Service is helping to schedule to return and the lady I spoke with couldn't have been nicer. I never thought I would be returning this bed. I see that others have been very happy with this bed so perhaps it's just us.

We have had our Sleep Number regular King bed since 2004. I was so tired of my husband complaining about back pain! That all stopped once we got this bed. I have taken a leap of faith and have purchased the Split King version and I am hopeful this bed won't let me down. I will update my review once it comes in and I have been able to try it. It's a lot of money (it's still a bit painful for me) but, it was a lot of money for my original but couldn't be happier. Fingers and Toes crossed this was a good decision!
