Best Coat for Cold weather
To save money I ride the bus to work and that is the reason for this purchase. I work in a hospital and wear scrubs. This coat is WONDERFUL!!!!! I have stood on the bus stop for 20 minutes and didnt get cold. The elastic in the sleeves help keep your arms warm. I wish I had gotten this coat sooner. I will be watching for a black one in my size.

Love this coat. Greatest coat I own.
I have this coat in winter white. I love this coat and all of the features . It has the zip vest inside the coat and 2 pockets which zip I love the top and bottom zipper. I wore this coat to the mountains where the temp was 18 and I stayed very warm,On the ski slopes it was 10 degrees We were up there watching snow boarding and ice skating. I was warm the entire time we were up there. I have many other coats, but this is my favorite.

Beautiful, Well Constructed Coat
Ellen Tracy is known for her suberb quality in clothing and this coat does not disappoint. Minor details like the added elastic inside the cuffs which prevent cold air from seeping in and the added faux fur on the upper inside vest are just two which make this coat stand apart. The hood also fits quite well and doesn't overwhelm as some down coats are prone to do. I ordered both this Ellen Tracy coat and the full length Liz Claiborne down coat to compare both quality and design and this coat won hands down in my opinion. The LC coat did not have the inner elastic inside the cuffs and that will permit the cold air to seep in. The hood on the LC coat was so oversized that it looked absurd and I like an oversized hood usually. That hood was beyond oversized!
Just super pleased with this purchase and know I will get lots of use from it on the really cold nights we do get here on occasion. It is nice to have a reliable truly warm coat. Walking my little dog on those frigid nights will be a lot more comfortable from now on and it will look nice too! Very glad I ordered both coats to compare .......... this Ellen Tracy is the hands down winner for me. The XS fit me well and I wear either XXS or XS in most coats.

I like it.
I noticed several reviewers say they went up a size, but I went down a size. I usually wear a large in dept. stores, but an xs - small in quackerfactory, so I decided to order a med. in this coat and it fits great. I have 2 other down coats, but needed one that would cover my legs. I'm 5'2" and the coat is 1/2 way between my knees and ankles, perfect. I love all the extra bells and whistles the coat has, the inner zipper, the up & down outer zippers and the ziippers on the pocket. It is GORGEOUS in white. I am very please with this coat and it was a GREAT price.

Best Purchase
I purchased this coat for my mom for Christmas who just recently moved back to WV from living in Florida for 45 years. She needed something extra warm so I thought I would give it a try. It was actually more of a buy than I first thought. It is very warm and soft...and fits her perfect! I love all the extras in it. I would definitely recommend this coat to anyone who is cold blooded and is looking for a great buy!

Great Coat at Great Price
Have been looking at "puffers" for some time now. Found this and it looks great, it's warm and it was a great price, too! Only wish it was a tad more fluffy.

Perfect Combo of Functionality and Fit
Fit: Nice long coverage without the bulk. Previous feedback is correct - the design is fitted - but for me this is good because I wasn't looking for something to add more bulk. If you are a big, puffy sweater wearer, then you'd be well advised to size-up.
Function: WHITE WASHES GREAT!! Keeps me warm well within the teen and twenties termperatures; Zipper is well designed and in gold - so pretty!

A really nice coat.
Love this coat. I call it a coat due to the legnth of the item. After the purchase I was reading some of the reviews and was fearful that it would be too tight. Many stated that they ordered their normal size and it was "tight". Well mine fit perfectly! I was a little disappointed in the "warmth factor" of the coat and that's why just the 4 stars. I expected it to be just a little warmer. I recently wore this on a very cold day (15 degrees) and to be quite honest I felt a little chilly around the arms. There doesn't seem to be an abundant amout of down in the sleeves. Next time I'll put a sweater on underneath. Love the double zipper allowing for extra warmth around the neck and chest area. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and have no regrets what so ever!

fantastic quality
if you are looking for a lightweight, superwarm, high quality down coat -- this is the one. over performed on our coldest northeast early morning. a little too long for my petite frame, but am keeping it as perfect for dog walking! even the hood is perfect

nice coat
I like this coat, it is warm and the perfect length. However the zipper on the vest doesn't stay zipped. It unzips from the bottom up thus defeats the purpose of having it as an extra layer. I like the coat but they need to fix the zipper problem.

static electricity
I love this coat. it is warm and cozy, but it leaves my hair full of static! Also, because the outside zipper is so long, it snags easily. I would have preferred the inside zipper and then maybe snaps on the outside. All in all, I am glad I bought it, but it does have a few issues.

Gorgous coat
This coat just arrived and It's gorgeous.I'm so glad I read the reviews.Thank you MSW ! It does run small.I am 5'5" and normally wear a size 8.I purchased a large.It's perfect.
