Frozen Piña Colada

  • 5 oz piña colada mix
  • 1-1/2 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks

Rum Runner

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz banana liqueur
  • 1 oz grenadine
  • Juice of one lime
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 2 hurricane glasses
  • Whipped topping, for garnish
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 2 pineapple wedges
  • 2 cocktail umbrellas

Preparation

Pour the piña colada mix, ice, and pineapple chunks into a blender and mix on medium-high speed until the mixture is thick like a slushie.

Combine the rum, banana liqueur, grenadine, lime, and pineapple juice into a pitcher or tall glass. Stir.

Pour your frozen piña colada mixture into the hurricane glasses. Top each glass with your rum runner mixture.

Garnish with whipped cream, cherry, pineapple wedge, and an umbrella.

Cook's Notes

You may make both mixtures 24 hours ahead of time and just keep them separated until you’re ready to create your drinks.
