Soho 2' x 3' Abstract Handtufted Wool/Viscose Blend Rug is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected This series of rugs is available in different color tones; looks beautiful online. I almost ordered 2 large for our living and dining rooms. Glad I didn't. Some other reviews hinted at difficulty with vacuuming. So I ordered the smallest size to see how it really looked. The colors are beautiful. The light beige is bright and creates a nice pop of color against a dark wood floor. The blue really is the grey/silver color we wanted and also looks good against a dark floor. great!? However there is just 1 big catch that has stopped me from ordering. It looks like someone took a beige colored carpet and hooked through strips of rawhide like ribbon in beige and brown colors. The strips stick up thru the carpet about 1 - 1 1/2 inches! These strips make the burst designs. Like a modified shag or something home made/ modified. Kind of strange. Must be hard to clean with pets or kids. I won't be ordering this after all. Would have ordered if the design was actually woven in and the carpet all one layer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but not practical I bought this is 3 colors - beige, blue and brown - planned to use them in the half bath, in a bedroom along side the bed and in front of a sliding glass door off the living room. If they worked out, I planned to order the 6x9 size for my dining room to match the one by the sliding glass door since my living room and dining room are one great room and flow together. I'm glad I didn't order the 6x9 - it would have been horrible trying to return it. These rugs are beautiful. What the description doesn't say is that you can't vacumn them with a rotator/beater vacumn brush. The directions on the back of the rug specifically state to use a non-rotator brush attachment. The only brush attachment I have is the small hand held one to do curtains etc. It would be a nightmare trying to vacumn a 6x9 foot rug with a hand held attachment. And I'm certainly not going to buy a new vacumn just for an area rug. Now, having said that, the rugs were still beautiful to look at and walk on. Thick, dense, soft plush. Unique, sparling design. And it's the design that causes the vacumning problem. The starbursts are not wool, like the rest of the rug and they are higher than the backgrond. From the description and photos, it seemed like the starbursts were the same height as the background. If the design were all one height and the starburst were wool instead of the shiney "ribbon" like material, there wouldn't be a problem with vacumning them. Because the starbursts are considerably longer than the back ground and are thiner material, a rotator vacumn would be able to grab these and pull them right out of the rug. Of course, the rug also wouldn't be as dramatic a look without the shiney starbursts. The beige is the most neutral and doesn't really stand out if the floor is also light in color. But it would really pop on a dark wood floor. The blue, I think, also needs to be on a dark background. And it's not a true light blue. It's that dusty grey blue that can have a tendancy to look muddy or dirty if the room is not bright. Now the brown is my favorite and the most dramatic! Looks wonderful on a light floor. The starbursts in the orange/red/gold are spectacular. I loved this. However, it would also be the hardest to keep looking good as everything shows on the dark wool. If you have a non-beater vacumn or only need a small rug that you could use a hand held device on, go for it. These are beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unusual Look Very pleased with this rug. I like unique items and this certainly is different from any I have ever seen. For the person concerned about vaccuming, there is not a problem. Would not give as gift because I just don't choose colors for other people's homes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent & Beautiful Rug This little beauty is just that: BEAUTIFUL. It enhances the beauty of things around it. The design is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend it to my friends. I am thinking of buying another one for an upcoming birthday, I am sure they will be as delighted with it as I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Unique I purchased this rug in the 2'X3' beige. It is very unusual w/ the spray-like mums/stars(?) more like ribbon yarn woven in w/ the tufted yarn. So beautiful & I want to order some lgr sizes; however, I am concerned as to what may happen when I vacuum the rug. I ended up putting this is my main bathroom w/ cream towels & contour rug/lid cover & shower curtain. Looks very nice. Wish it came in some addl colors. I alrdy own 14 Royal Palace Rugs and some I rotate w/ the season or fm room-to-room.
