Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bravo for Braava m6! After having used the Braava M6 in my house for about 3 weeks, I will definitely NOT be sending this back! We love it. Our household is pet-free, but has a preschooler and elementary schooler, so not dirt-free by any means. The flooring surfaces are mostly vintage oak hardwood floors with tiled bathrooms; bedrooms are hardwood with area rugs. As a regular i7 roomba user, I have grown used to the mapping and self-emptying features. The Braava M6 requires a little more babysitting work*, but not much more than a non-self emptying roomba, and it works tirelessly to mop out the dirt; it can detect spots and go over and over them. My kitchen no longer has popsicle drips all over it. I also enjoy the dry dusting feature, which I didn't think would be that useful. *Babysitting work: 1. Changing out pad 2. Filling tank for wet mopping (much easier and less drippy than I anticipated) 3. Moving it over thresholds The main "issue" the Braava M6 has is that it cannot climb thresholds like the Roomba can. This is probably due to it having a tank, and its sensors to keep it from spraying water on furniture or rugs. I have a few thresholds that it cannot traverse, we simply move it over the threshold and it continues on its cleaning way. It also continues to map accurately even if we have to move it manually. Often, my 6 year old does this job for me. The Braava M6 is much quieter it is than the Roomba i7. I have purchased but not yet used the reusable wash pads. The cleaning spray has a pleasant, non-dominant odor that quickly fades away once the spray has dried.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not recommend it! This thing needs to be improved a lot! It even did not start doing the first job. Although it is on a flat wood surface, It keeps giving the error message 'stuck'. And also on the app writes 'being moved while starting' it did try to reboot it, it didn't help me to fix the problem. They don't have the answer to that problem in FAQ. Obviously this robot has engineering problems, not well done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased Overall, I was pleased with this product. My apartment is both carpeted and wood floors, so the iRobot had a hard time navigating around the carpet, which i think is pretty reasonable. It cleaned the floors effectively, but just pushed around dog hair. Overall, pleased with the product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a great idea but there's still come kinks Honestly, I really want to love this and I did for the first week or two that I had it but then it randomly starting turning on in the middle of the night and there was no way of shutting it off. Waking up to your irobot singing at 3 am is not fun. Otherwise, I like it, I like that I can turn it on and it sweeps or mops my floors. It hasn't figured out my apartment yet the smart map it created of my apartment isn't accurate at all but otherwise, I really like it. Now I just have to find replacement pads because this product is so new I can't find it in any stores! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Robot I love my new iRobot® Braava jet® m6! First off, it looks super cool with lights on the top of the lid! I think iRobot is the best brand compares to other vacuum robot brands; but I have to say their mop robots are also very extraordinary! The setup is super easy, just plug in, download the iRobot App, add water + iRobot cleaning solution in the tank, slide in a mopping pad, click "Clean", that's it! The App has a clean outline & very user friendly. I ran a few training runs after enabling smart maps and it was able to map out the rooms without any difficulty. And the robot finds its way to home base quickly. Also, I was able to control the amount of water that 'spray' out (Small, Medium, Large) thru the App, which was super helpful as at first it sprayed too much water & it was too wet. The robot did a very thorough job and it only missed a couple of spots. The only downside is, I found that there are some streak marks left from the robot after mopping. I might have to play around with the ratio of iRobot cleaning fluid & different mopping setting to see if it can solve the problem. The robot comes with one-time-use pads, and not washable ones. But I do think the one-time-use pads are better than washable one in term of the mopping result. Overall, I am very satisfied with iRobot® Braava jet® m6! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great to setup and use The Braava Jet m6 is very easy to setup and use. I love how much control you have over how you want it to clean your floor. I also love the Nav 3.0 mapping capabilities. At the end of the day I had to return Braava because I have small wooden barriers that I took pictures of and placed them in the review. Braava's cliff sensors would not allow Braava to go over those small barriers so it could only clean one room at a time. I just decided to stick with the original Braava Jet instead. I was honestly heart broken it could not go over those barriers. I am hoping that in the future it will be able to cross those small barriers so it can clean my whole condo. I wish that it could at least mop over all barriers as well as the Roomba. I have a Roomba 980 and it does a fantastic job vacuuming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for maintenance cleaning I'm actually pretty impressed with the iRobot Braava jet. Very easy to set up and connect with the app. At first, it had a hard time maneuvering around my house. I live in an older home with an odd floor plan, but after the first few runs it had mapped out the house pretty accurately. It's fascinating to watch the robot do its thing. I think its best use is in bigger areas of the home without much floor clutter. My cats are still getting used to it. I wish the box came with the reusable pad options. It comes with 2 dry and 2 wet pads that are only good for a single use. I'll definitely need to go out and get the reusable ones otherwise this machine isn't very effective long term. I also wish this robot also did vacuuming. With pet fur and other debris, I wish I didn't need to sweep first. I don't see the dry sweeping feature as a benefit since it doesn't really pick up any dirt, just pushes it around. This thing would be amazing if it would vacuum and mop in one go! Otherwise, seems like it's most effective as a maintenance clean. I'd rather use the vacuuming robot for more effective cleaning in my home. Yes, I would recommend the iRobot Braava jet to others - especially if they had a large, open floor plan house where it's easy for the robot to get around.
