What is it: Peter Thomas Roth's 24K Gold Cleansing Butter contains 24K gold in a solid-to-oil buttery texture to help gently melt away dirt, makeup, and impurities. Developed to work synergistically with the rich buttery texture, the accompanying konjac sponge deeply cleanses and provides light exfoliation, depending on the amount of pressure applied.
Who is it for: For those wanting a deep-cleaning cleanser. Good for all skin types.
Why is it different: In a solid-to-oil buttery texture, 24K Gold Cleansing Butter moisturizes to help soften dry skin and helps improve the appearance of dry lines and wrinkles. Chamomile butter, kasturi turmeric, and honey deliver intense hydration.
The konjac sponge is made with a root-based vegetable. The teardrop shape is conducive to makeup removal, helping to get into facial crevices. It's portable and can be hung to dry using the attached string.
How do I use it: Melt a small amount of 24K Gold Cleansing Butter by massaging between palms and apply to dry skin. Dampen konjac sponge and gently massage in a circular motion to remove dirt, makeup, and other impurities. Thoroughly rinse sponge and squeeze out excess water after each use. Hang by attached string to dry. Use once or twice daily. Replace sponge every two months.
