LightStim for Pain is an LED light-therapy medical device, registered and cleared by the FDA to provide temporary relief of minor arthritis pain, minor muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and muscle spasms, as well as to temporarily increase local blood circulation and temporarily relax muscles.

LightStim is a pioneer and leading the way in LED light therapy. LightStim has been the leading manufacturer and marketer for the last decade for medical professionals. Its innovative technology is delivered in an at-home, handheld device that is easy to use and provides results.

How do I use it: Place the light so that it's gently touching the skin on the area you wish to address for five to 30 minutes. Move the light to the next area and repeat as often as desired.

What is LED light therapy and how does it work: LED stands for Light-Emitting-Diode, and LightStim for Pain utilizes multi-wave technology to simultaneously emit multiple wavelengths of light to the desired areas. It uses no harmful UV rays and is not a laser--it is a warm, soothing, and gentle delivery of light.

LightStim for Pain Handheld LED Therapy Light Device is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as good as advertised I used this product 4 different times for arthritic and muscle pain. I followed instructions carefully and found the level of relief suggested in the product presentation to be HIGHLY inflated. For me, LightStim failed to perform. The best I obtained was low/mild very temporary relief. One positive feature of the unit was its portability; that was great. Unfortunately I waited too long to return the unit and now I'm stuck with a useless, expensive product. I was under the impression that all products offered on the Q went thru rigorous internal quality control. But then- maybe not!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but difficult to hold I purchased this device for my husband who has had multiple back surgeries as well as neuropathy, and arthritis. It does relieve pain somewhat but is very difficult to use. For some applications, you can prop it against the affected area but this is not the norm. Holding it steady against the skin by the handle for even 5 minutes is tedious, especially with arthritic hands. A better design would be a real help. Also, the cord is very short, limiting where one can sit or lie down while using it. Shouldn't have to use an extension cord. We have come up with various ways to keep it in place without using hands, such as propping, holding against the body with Ace bandage or other fabric but this is not ideal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My doctor said it's like a toy. Have seen these advertised and decided to try this since I have had long-time back issues. After using this for a few weeks with little, if any, relief, I had to go to my back doctor and showed this to him. His comment, "Return it, it's not powerful enough, it's more like a toy". Maybe this unit is ok for some areas of the body, but it doesn't work for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works! Highly Recommend I have a torn meniscus in knee and osteoarthritis in there too. Am trying to avoid surgery so have been trying different modalities and the light slim is one. It relieves the pain, aching and throbbing and the warmth feels great. Penetrates. I wish it was battery operated so I wasn’t outlet dependent or it had a longer cable, but it’s ok. This must be How it works best. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Were do I begin, I began having a hip problem August 2017 had hip replacement very end of March 2018. Three months after surgery my hip healed however there was still one spot that pulled with pain every time I would bend over or stand after sitting, walking was no problem. My physician said that was very rare and he had only seen it a couple of times and he has been doing hip replacement for at least 30 years. He thinks it might be tendonitis and if it doesn't heal I may need surgery to correct it. About a week before my appointment I ordered this light and it was at my front door when I arrived home that day. I immediately gave it a try and felt some relief IMMEDIATELY, it wasn't gone but slightly less pain. I began applying it about four times a day and after 2 or 3 weeks it is so much better that I know it is healing. The last 3 days I haven't had any pain in that location just a little soreness. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and sometimes even with the medication I get aches and pains that I find really hard to deal with. I have tried heating pads, soaking in the tub with Epsom salts and I am trying not to up my pain medications because I don't want to be taking them anyway. I have had really bad pain in my right arm from the shoulder down to the tips of my fingers. So I have had the LightStim for two weeks and I use it every night as I sit watching TV. I use it as recommended (it is so easy to use) and I have to say that although it is not completely healed it is well on it's way. The pain is actually eased enough that I am more comfortable using my hand, fingers and arm. I can not say enough good things about the LIghtStim. C.H.
