Pumpkin Patch Parfaits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk, cold
  • 1 (1.85 oz) box instant butterscotch pudding
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 12 small candy pumpkins

Preparation

In the bowl of stand mixer, add the milk, pudding mix, and pumpkin pie spice.

Mix on medium for 2 minutes, then cover and refrigerate until set, about 20 minutes.

Once the pudding is set, assemble the parfaits.

Add 1/4 cups of crushed cookies to the bottom of an individual 8-oz trifle or parfait dish.

Then, top the cookies with 1/4 cup of pudding.

Add another 1/4 cup of cookies on top of the pudding.

Then, add 1/4 cup whipped topping.

Spread another 1/4 cup of pudding, then 1/4 cup of crushed cookies.

Place 3 candy pumpkins on top of the parfaits. Repeat until all parfaits are assembled.

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cook's Notes

To make these spooky parfaits, add some gummy worms or spiders!
