Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really worth the price First let me start by saying that this kit is definitely not worth the price. I purchased the hope in a tube and renewed day cream before this set and that will be going back since the eye cream is a joke for the price(too thick to spread and tube was over 1/2 empty when I got it) and the day cream doesn't do anything. So I thought that since the day cream didn't break me out but also didn't do anything, that I'd try this set with the night cream because maybe it would give me some moisturization to my skin, plus free shipping helped. So onto this set, the night cream is the only thing worth buying in this set. It is awesome. I had this huge dry patch under my eye due to overexfoliation and the night cream took care of it in less than a week. I also had a dry spot above my eyebrow due to another cream I tried and it took care of that in no time as well. It is having a little trouble getting rid of the dry nostrils but I'm sick right now so all the nose blowing is causing it, but it is a lot better than it was. I mean compared to what it was, huge flakes with red nose, compared to now, little tiny flakes that are only around after washing my face with Purity, it has definitely improved!!!! I also didn't get the pilling that I did with the day cream. It did seem a little oily to me after application, but that's probably just me because I haven't moisturized my face in years because the creams always seemed oily, this night cream on the other hand is nothing compared to the moisturizers I've tried in the past, oiliness wise anyway. It kind of just adds that little something extra that my skin needs to make it feel like skin and not some dry, flaky thing on my face. They both smell wonderful, it almost reminds me of a pine tree forest covered in snow. I mean it smells like a light pine tree scent, but not enough to overpower the senses. And after you apply it to your face, the scent evaporates so you're not smelling it all night or anything. As for does this work on wrinkles or to brighten up your skin, I'd have to say that I haven't seen an improvement in either my little forehead wrinkles or skin brightness. If anything, I'd have to say I've seen my forehead wrinkles become deeper, but that could be because I stopped using the Lancôme genifique serum so that I could add some moisture to my skin instead. Plus, I haven't been using this cream for very long and to see a difference, you really need 3 months, not a week. It's the same way with the day cream, except the night cream adds so much more to your skin. I can say that the day cream acts as a decent primer for makeup in the morning though. But as I said before, it doesn't add anything to my skin. The day cream also tends to pill so much during application. I tried exfoliating to prevent the pilling and it did work but I can't exfoliate everyday before applying, hence the reason I had a huge dry spot under my eye from overexfoliating. The pilling I think is because there is not enough oiliness to the product because I didn't get the pilling with the night cream. Overall, the day cream is really nothing. There isn't anything special to say about it; although, it does help make my makeup application a little easier in the morning. The cons outweigh the day cream though. As for the night cream, I can't say enough good things about the night cream. It's gotten rid of my dry patches, my skin is nice and smooth and supple. The creams haven't helped with wrinkles or brightness in my skin yet, but I'm going to keep this set because I love this night cream. As for the price of this set, it's not worth $120, because after shipping and taxes added to the $109 price tag, that's the end price. And since 1/2 this kit doesn't really work, why would I want to spend $120 for 2 jars of 1 face cream? If QVC wants to really sell this set, I suggest dropping the price by at least another $10, but $15-$20 would really make it move. I'd even buy another set if they'd drop it that much. Not to mention, there are so many deals on the day cream that I could get the same amount of the day cream for under $50. I also hate that this is in a jar because of the whole germ contamination thing. I wish they'd put all of their creams and soufflés in tubes not jars to try to prevent this issue. I've been catching the product on the plastic insert and using it that way so I can wash it before it goes back into jar, hoping it helps with contamination. On a side note, I also had an issue with getting this set. It took almost 2 weeks to get because it didn't ship for 1.5 weeks. I also had to contact customer service multiple(3-4) times because it wasn't shipping and I was afraid I wouldn't get it before Christmas.
