Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smell? What smell? I'm amused by the reviews that say this "smells terrible." This is not a fragranced item, THANK GOODNESS. When Philosophy started putting fragrance -- AND silicone -- into HIAJ and called it "Renewed," they lost me and I'm desperately hoping they don't discontinue the original. If I want fragrances and a ton of silicone I'll buy Estee Lauder and Dr. Dinese. This stuff is very rich and a tiny bit goes a long way -- I bought the duo of 8 oz of this and original HIAJ day cream and I'm about out of the day cream but still have nearly half the night cream left. It's super moisturizing, and the acids will help exfoliate overnight, so when I use my Microdelivery wash I get a ton of dead skin off. At nearly 59, I've been mistaken for a 35-year old and I often get compliments on my skin. Some of that is genetics, but great skin care, which this is, is a factor as well. So it doesn't smell like flowers in springtime. But it works, and it doesn't smell awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the money and it literally stinks! When I opened the jar I thought oh what a wicked looking cream and the smell is just terrible. I thought maybe it was rancid. Really, Philosophy is this the way it is suppose to look and smell? I didn't see the other reviews before I ordered, I would never imagine it being this bad. And I don't see the results. which isn't why I am giving this a terrible review, its just the smell and look of the cream but if it showed results it would help. Since all reviews are focusing on the look and smell, I think this should be part of QVCs presentation. Present it as it IS Take this back to the lab Philosophy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First Time Philosophy Has Missed The Mark I have been a Philosophy customer for a very long time and I have never found a product of theirs that I did not like a lot....UNTIL NOW. The cream is effective but it smells so horrible that you don't want to use it. My review is not the only one that notes this problem which has existed for quite some time now since the product first became available to purchase. It is odd that a company such as Philosophy which is always so responsive to the needs of their customers, will not fix this problem. To have a product that works well but that smells so awful is simply an issue that should be addressed and rather easily at that. C'mon, Philosophy, you're better than this. Please, fix that awful smell. When you do, this item will fly off the shelves just like all the rest of your excellent products. Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It Smells Awful I could not get over how awful the smell was so I could not use it long enough to see if it works. The daytime hope in a jar is good, but forget the night time one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hang in there with it - Worth It! Have used many beauty products through the years and find this is one of the most effective!. Just put it on face, neck and decolletage - and allow it to work its magic. Hands off, until morning, then use a good exfoliant. Revealed is new and vibrantly youthful skIn. Worth It!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Smell I am a philosophy girl. Use all their products. This is the worst. The smell is so horrible. I am now stuck with this large jar. Definitely going back to Miracle Worker. Girls don't waste your money on this. Hope in a jar is an excellent moisturizer but not the night version.
