Not worth the price! I like light pinkish colors on my face because I'm light complected and also have cool-toned (as opposed to warm-toned) skin. This compact was appealing and I liked the different shades of pink - but it goes on nearly colorless. It also barely makes it as a highlighter on the upper part of my cheekbones or on my upper eyelids. And the price is ridiculous -- no more Philosophy products of any kind for me. 09-29-10
Very Nice Addition to Beauty Routine I have been very happy with this purchase. I usually blend the colors together and use it as a blush, but it can also be used as a highlighter. Great for people who want a hint of color that looks natural. 04-11-10
for a makeup optional look this product provides a sheer pink color to the cheeks. definitely a product for someone who is going for the makeup optional look. I like the product for the days when I want to get the brightened/luminiated look but don't want a heavy makeup look. 04-03-10
Good and Bad When I first received this I was very excited. I have tried to find the perfect blush for years. The first time I used it I thought it was too light. I changed the color of my foundation to a darker color and it worked much better. (I use mineral foundation) I don't think this product is made for very light complexions or maybe it worked better with mineral foundations. Not sure. My only concern is that the packaging seems to waste a lot of the product. I'm going to see how long it lasts before I reorder. This is definately pricey and I can't afford to replace it every few weeks. I did have to get use to it not being as dark as the other color blushes I usually wear. I like to play up my eyes so I have grown to really like the glow on my cheeks. I changed my lip color too so I am enjoying my new look. I think my husband likes it too even though he hasn't said. He seems to be looking at me more and longer! 03-27-10
Girl, don't look in the mirror!!!!!! If you are a middle-aged woman, this product is not for you. It has a highlighted/illuminator surrounding the pink blushes. When I applied it to my face, I almost scared myself! It showed every wrinkle I thought I didn't have. Truly, this is just a gimmick and will soon be replaced by another product. 03-23-10
Very disappointed I was very excited about all the new cosmetics from Philosophy. I was so disappointed when I had a very pale chalky look. It is too light for fair skin. So I will be returning this along with the amazing grace pink shimmer compact. I don't know how the models on the show had such a healthy pink glow when these are so light. 03-21-10
I really like it. For my purposes, it works really well. So many makeup artists say you should use some pink on your cheeks. I usually highlight my cheekbones with it. When I use it for a blush, I definitely swirl a little heavier in the darker part of compact. I am not fair complected. I guess I will see how it works this summer when I'm tanning. But for now, It's working for me. 03-20-10
Way too pale! Like some of the other reviewers I was excited to get a nice "neutral" pink blush! However, this made me look "washed out" and it has a "whiteish" hue to it - chalk like! Is there a lack of piment? I will be returning this! 03-15-10
It supposed to be natural! First off - this is not a bright pink blush. However, I'd say that most people tend to 'over pink' themselves anyway. And have become so accustomed to that really bright look (which is NOT natural) that this might be too light for them. That being said - if you like just a slight, natural shade of pink that doesn't look like you are wearing blush (think of a fresh faced kid with that touch of healthy color to their skin) then this is the blush for you. Philosophy - keep making this product!!! 03-11-10
THIS PINK IS A DREAM If you are looking for a natural, soft pink blush, look no further. For this fair-skinned 40 something girl, this is the perfect pink shade I have been looking for. I also have some light rosescea with reddness along my cheeks, and the reddness does not discolor the shade of the blush. It gives that natural, lit-from-within glow, and I have found that this is the perfect shade to wear for everyday. If I want to make the color more intense, I contour Laura Geller's Roseberry or another blush under the cheeks. Others have commented that it does not come with a brush and feel that it is too pricey. However, I think most of us have more brushes from other kits than we know what to do with. I don't need another brush. And, you are getting 3 blushes in one! Sounds like a great value to me! 03-08-10
FORGET IT ! If you want to pay $35.00 for NO COLOR, fine, but not me ! It's going right back ! 03-08-10
very disappointed I use all the Philoposhy skin care products and love them so I was interested to try their makeup. Unfortunately, it's too 'white' not enough pink color regardless of how careful you are to not use the highlighter. Too late to return so I just bought my old standby. PS, the brush isn't any good either. 02-27-10
