Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sorry to say but these kinda suck So this is my first time using a smart plug. I bought them to enhance my Alexa experience. They take some time to set up and what the ad doesnt say is that these smart plugs cannot be hooked up via a 5G wireless modem. If thats what you got move on. So i had to start the process all over again after i logged onto my 2.4G wireless connection. NOw everything is working fine and i have my lamp and my tv plugged into them. They work good but the problem is that they turn off. Randomly. For no apparent reason. Not the lamp or the TV but the actual Smart Plug. if the plug is off then Alexa cant connect to it. You have to go back into the app and turn them on then Alexa or whatever device your using to as a remote will work. This sucks if your trying to turn on your lights and its dark and you have no power on your tablet ...your screwed. Not sure how or even if they will or can update but until they fix that issue i cant recommend. . Do your research i guess. I failed to do mine. I went with cost instead. And here we are...
