As an athlete and avid gym-goer, Tyler Keefe, creator of Scoonels, was frequently using powdered supplements before and after his workouts. The scoops that came in the containers of these supplements were too big to pour the powder into a water bottle without creating a mess. Tyler, along with many of his friends, would use handmade paper and plastic funnels, or even rolled-up newspaper and magazines to attempt to transfer these powders into their water bottles. None of these methods were good solutions; it was a messy fix. Being so frustrated with the mess, sticky fingers, and not to mention, the product wasted from spillage, Tyler came up with the perfect solution—the Scoonel!
