Rick Domeier joined QVC as a host trainee in the fall of 1994 and became a permanent program host in April 1995. A native of New Ulm, Minnesota, Rick caught the performance bug early, playing Tom Sawyer in his grade-school play. A drama major who graduated from the Drama School at SCR, he majored in theater and starred in Picnic as Hal Carter at the Brea Theatre; Macbeth for Will and Company; and Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge at the International City Theatre. Rick has appeared on every major broadcast network and is the author of Can I Get a Do Over?—an insightful look at life makeovers and second chances. Acting credits on IMDb include St. Elsewhere, Die Hard 2, various soap operas and commercials, and yes, turning into that infamous demon “Evil Ed” in the cult-classic horror film, Evil Dead 2.
Rick loves both the never-ending creativity of being a program host and the playful opportunity to connect with viewers on live TV and through social media like Facebook. His passions include fitness, the latest technology, photography, cooking, fine wine, writing, and the art of jewelry design. Whether it's doing a soap-opera spoof or kicking off a new Today's Special Value® at Midnight, it's no surprise Rick has been described as "a whirlwind of energy in the studio" by Business 2.0 magazine. Rick's QVC shows over the years have included Home Projects with Rick & Dan, Rick & Easy Solutions, and Get Fit with Rick. His latest, Anything Goes with Rick & Shawn, is his most exciting to date and airs Tuesday nights.
An active supporter of Habitat for Humanity, Rick also loves coaching his two sons and is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). He's the recipient of QVC's Ace Award, True North Award, and the Cornerstone Award, QVC's highest honor.
