frye & co. Leather Side Zip Ankle Boots - Adelaide is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful ankle boots The leather is very soft and supple yet very study and they fit perfectly. I know I will wear these for a long time. These are beautiful boots that I wear to work. They are very stylish. They are not cowgirl style boots. I love them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What’s happened to Frye boots? I received these for Christmas, and I can’t believe they are Frye. The soles are slick synthetics of some sort, and the leather and workmanship are not what I am used to in the brand. In short, they don’t feel or look like Frye, and I can see that they won’t wear like iron, as my other Frye boots have done. What’s happened to the brand?! I can’t tell my aunt, who gave them to me, so instead of returning, I will be taking these to a local women’s shelter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Casual Boots I’m perplexed by the negative reviews. I loved them the moment I saw them. Once I put them on and wore all day I was more in love. My feet did not hurt or ache like so many other shoes do. Color is beautiful and this boot looks chic. I have no complaints. True to size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frye & Co Adelaide Ankle Boot Just received these today and am so disappointed. The workmanship is defective. One of the boots appears to have something spilled on it and is scraped, while the other boot is scraped above the heal. Am returning for an exchange and hoping the next pair is better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable! This was my first experience with Frye. The boot fit well and is comfortable, 9B true to size with a trouser sock. I thought that the leather would have been softer for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not in love The length is 1-2 inches longer than where my toes are hitting. I am a perfect size 7 so why are these so long? And then, I almost fell in my living room walking on the carpet. The soles are flat, smooth and slippery! No tread or rubber at all. No thanks. These go back

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing I just put these in the mail to return them for several reasons. They are a far cry from the usual Frye boots which I have several pairs of. The leather is very ordinary - not the usual soft lustrous look of quality one should expect for $200. The soles are the most disappointing - slick and man made and not at all like leather on other Frye boots. They are also man made in Viet Nam, not the Mexican craftsman that created this product's reputation. I will not order another shoe or boot from Frye and Co. They give Frye a bad name.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Run narrow & slick as ice - don't walk on carpet! Nice looking boots but they run narrow and the bottom is dangerously smooth. I wear an 8.5W or a 9B and the 9B I got leaves no room for a wool sock at all. They may expand a bit since the uppers are leather but I don't wear boots without socks. I had to walk very carefully through the carpeted office to get to the bathroom to look at them. Not good for winter! At this price I may as well get a pair of "real" Frye boots with the leather sole, which is a much better quality. This hybrid leather-fashion boot isn't worth the money. I have a pair of Frye engineer boots 11" high and they could walk 500 miles on wet gravel and you would never feel a thing or slip once. Going back, sorry! Please bring us some "real" Frye boots, 100% leather. I'd pay $300 for those ... on EZ pay, please!! :-)
