Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Callus Remover different?
A: Micro-Pedi uses a micro-mineral roller to help effectively remove dead skin and calluses.
Q: How long should I use the Micro-Pedi on the dead skin on my feet?
A: Gently rotate the Micro-Pedi back and forth and side to side over the callus/corn/hard-skin area for two to three seconds. Don't press hard. Continue this motion until you've achieved the softness you desire.
Q: Why does my Micro-Pedi stop sometimes?
A: For your protection, the Micro-Pedi will shut off if you press too hard. Keep the pressure light and gentle on your callused areas, and let your Micro-Pedi do the work for you.
Q: Can I use the Micro-Pedi to get rid of dry skin on my face?
A: No. The Emjoi Micro-Pedi is only intended to use on the feet, heels, and callused elbows. Don't use the unit anywhere else on the body.
Q: Should I soak my feet or put lotion on them before I use the Micro-Pedi?
A: The Micro-Pedi must be used only on dry skin without lotion. Don't soak feet or put lotion on feet before use.
Q: Can I rinse the roller barrels in water?
A: No. The roller barrels should never be rinsed or placed in water.
Q: Is the Micro-Pedi waterproof?
A: No. The Micro-Pedi is water-resistant, but it's not waterproof. Don't submerge the unit in water. To clean the unit, remove the roller barrel and rinse unit under running water. The roller barrels should never be rinsed or placed in water.
Q: How do I turn on my Micro-Pedi?
A: The Micro-Pedi has a built-in safety switch lock to prevent the unit from being turned on accidentally. Press the button in and push up at the same time to turn on your unit. To turn it off, press in the button and push down at the same time.
Q: Do I have to charge my Micro-Pedi before use?
A: No. The Micro-Pedi is battery-operated and runs on two AA batteries. It doesn't need to be charged.
Q: How do I install the batteries?
A: Remove the battery cover—in the bottom cap on the handle—by turning it 90 degrees to the left until it clicks into place. Pull down. Insert two AA batteries, following the drawing on the back of the handle. Close the battery cover by turning it 90 degrees to the right until it clicks into place and locks.

A: Make sure the end cap of the roller barrel is facing up. Pull down the release button on the side of the unit, and the roller will pop out.
