The Micro-Pedi uses a micro-mineral roller to help effectively remove dead skin and calluses.

Q: How long should I use the Micro-Pedi on the dead skin on my feet?
Gently rotate the Micro Pedi back-and-forth and side-to-side over the callus/corn/hard skin area for two to three seconds. Do not press hard. Continue this motion until you have achieved the desired softness.

Q: Why does my Micro-Pedi stop sometimes?
For your protection, the Micro-Pedi will shut off if you press too hard. Keep the pressure light and gentle on your calloused areas.

Q: Can I use the Emjoi Micro-Pedi to get rid of dry skin on my face?
No. The Emjoi Micro-Pedi is only intended for use on the feet and heels. Do not use the unit anywhere else on the body.

Q: How many speeds does this version of the Micro-Pedi have?
This unit has one speed.

Q: Is the Micro-Pedi waterproof?
No. The Micro-Pedi is water-resistant but not waterproof. Do not submerge the unit into water. To clean the unit, remove the roller barrel and rinse the unit under running water. The roller barrels should never be rinsed or placed in water.

Q: How do I turn on my Micro-Pedi?
The Micro-Pedi has a built-in Safety Switch Lock to prevent the unit from being turned on accidentally. Press in the button and push up at the same time to turn on your unit. To turn it off, press in the button and push down at the same time.

Q: Do I have to charge my Micro-Pedi before use?
No. The Micro Pedi is battery-operated and runs on two AA batteries. It does not need to be charged.

Q: How do I install the batteries?
Remove the battery cover, in the bottom cap on the handle, by turning it 90 degrees to the left until it clicks into place. Pull down. Insert two AA batteries following the drawing on the back of the handle. Close the battery cover by turning it 90 degrees to the right until it clicks into place and locks.

Q: How do I remove the roller?
Make sure the end cap of the roller barrel is facing up. Pull down the release button on the side of the unit and the roller will pop out.

Q: How long do the roller barrels last?
The lifespan of each roller barrel depends upon the frequency of use and size of area being treated. Keep it clean by brushing it off. Replace as needed.

Q: Can I share the Micro-Pedi with a friend?
The Micro-Pedi unit can be shared but not the roller barrels. For hygienic reasons the rollers are recommended for one person only. Replacement roller barrels are offered on QVC.com.

Q: Can I use the Micro-Pedi if I have diabetes?
Please consult your physician prior to use if you have diabetes or any medical or skin conditions.

Q: What is the extension handle used for?
The Micro-Pedi Extension Handle increases the length of the Micro-Pedi by two inches so you do not have to bend or strain to remove calluses and dry skin on the feet.

Q: How do I get the extra handle on the unit?
The Micro-Pedi extension handle fits right over the Micro Pedi unit. Make sure the on/off switch is facing out.

Q: What is the mirror on the handle for?
The mirror on the back of the extension handle lets you see the results while you are working on your feet.

Q: What are the Precision Cone Rollers used for?
The Micro-Pedi Precision Cone Rollers are for delicate work in hard-to-access areas. They are terrific for calluses and dry skin in between and under the toes.

Q: How do I get the Precision Cone Rollers into the unit?
Turn off your unit and remove the regular roller from the unit. Place the Precision Roller Holder into the unit with the hole facing out. Insert a Precision Roller into the Roller Holder.

Q: Do I use the Precision Rollers like the standard roller?
Use the Precision Rollers on hard-to-reach calluses in between and under the toes.

Q: How do I use the Manicure Kit?
Turn off your unit and remove the regular roller from the unit. Place the Roller Holder into the unit with the hole facing out. Insert any manicure attachment into the Roller holder.
