A: Your phone must be activated within 60 days from your QVC order date in order to redeem the promotional minutes. Phone can be activated at any time outside of the 60 days, but the promotional minutes cannot be redeemed after 60 days from the QVC order date.

Q: How many minutes are included with this phone?
A: The amount of minutes and service days vary based on the specific offer. See the item description for complete details on what is included.

Q: How may I redeem my promotional minutes?
A: Follow the steps in the Welcome Guide enclosed with your order. If the item includes a promotional Airtime PIN, call 888-238-0828 to retrieve your Airtime PIN number. Once you have your Airtime PIN number, activate through TracFone by calling 800-867-7183 or online.

Q: I transferred my existing TracFone number and balance to my new Android phone, how do I apply my promotional Airtime PIN?
A: To add your promotional Airtime PIN, visit TracFone online and select "Add Airtime" then "Add Card Online". Enter your Airtime PIN and your TracFone phone number. You don't need to add a promo code so leave that field blank. Tap "Submit".

You may also download TracFone's My Account App and select "Add Card". Enter the Airtime PIN Number and tap OK.

Q: I only received 400 minutes instead of the 1,200 minutes for this promotion. How do I receive all my promotional minutes?
A: You probably received all the promotional minutes. Check your TracFone balance to confirm. Promotional airtime is added using TracFone Airtime PINs. If the promotional airtime is 1,200 minutes, a 400 minute PIN is used. TracFone identifies the PIN as a 400-minute PIN. When the 400 minute PIN is added to a triple-minute Android phone, it adds 1,200 talk, 1,200 text, and 1,200 MB of data. If you check your balance and there is a discrepancy, contact the Wireless Center for correction. Note: Promotion minute amounts may vary.

Q: How do I receive Triple Minutes?
A: The Triple-minute benefit is already programmed into your phone. For every minute you purchase, you will receive two minutes at no additional charge. Bonus or promotional minutes do not qualify for tripling. Existing balances do not triple. The triple-minute benefit is automatic and the confirmation message you receive on your phone will reflect the triple minutes.

Data-only cards do not triple or add service days. Double-minute cards will not work on triple-minute devices. If you cancel or deactivate your TracFone service you may lose your triple-minute benefit. The triple-minute benefit is valid for the life of your phone and is non-transferable.

Q: If the phone is returned before using all the time purchased, will I receive a refund for any unused minutes?
A: No. Unused airtime and funds paid toward airtime are non-refundable.

Activating Your Phone

Q: How do I activate this phone?
A: You need an Airtime PIN to activate your Android device. Make sure to obtain your promotional PIN from the Wireless Center before you contact TracFone to activate your device. Once you've retrieved your airtime PIN, activate the phone with TracFone customer service online or call 800-867-7183.

Q: Are there any activation fees?
A: No.

Q: Can I move my existing cell phone number to the new phone?
A: Yes. Your existing phone number can be transferred. Porting or transferring your existing number to TracFone may take several days to complete and you may be without service during this time. Some restrictions may apply.

Q: Will my existing TracFone minute balance transfer to my TracFone Android phone?
A: Yes. Traditional TracFone balances will transfer to a TracFone Android phone as talk, text, and data including service days.

If you have a balance of 200 minutes and 100 days of service on an existing traditional TracFone and you transfer your traditional TracFone number to your TracFone Android phone, you'll receive 200 talk, 200 text, or 200MB data and 100 service days. If you have a current TracFone Android phone and transfer to a new TracFone Android phone, your balances will transfer as-is. Talk/text/data balances do NOT transfer from a TracFone Android phone to a non-Android or Traditional TracFone. Only service days will transfer.

Q: Can I activate a new number and then port my current wireless number to my TracFone Android phone at a later date?
A: Yes, but note when you port your current number after you activate a brand new number on your Android device, TracFone will require you to purchase a new Airtime PIN to complete the port. This is because the promotional Airtime PIN number was already used for the brand-new number activation. You may purchase the least-expensive PIN available to complete the transaction. Once your port is complete, TracFone may transfer your remaining promotional balance to your ported number. If there are any difficulties with this process, please contact the Wireless Center for assistance.

Q: If I move my phone number from a different carrier, will the unexpired minutes I have with that company transfer to TracFone?
A: No. Minutes from other carriers are not transferrable to TracFone.

Q: If I transfer my number from a different TracFone phone, will the unexpired minutes transfer?
A: Transferring minutes is at TracFone's sole discretion. However, most balances are transferred. Some restrictions may apply. Please note that you aren't able to transfer minute/text/data balances from an Android device to a Non-Android device. Only service days will transfer.

Q: May I transfer my land line phone number to this phone?
A: Yes. Landline number can be transferred. Porting or transferring your existing number to TracFone may take several days to complete. Landline transfer may take extra time to complete. You may be without service during this time. Some restrictions may apply.

Q: How do minutes work with TracFone?
A: Android TracFones have 3 separate balances for Talk, Text, and Data. For each minute you talk on your phone (includes calls you initiate and receive), 1 minute will be deducted from your Talk balance. For each text message you send or receive, 1 text will be deducted from your text balance. For each MB that is sent and received, 1 MB will be deducted from your Data balance.

Q: Who is the carrier or network one has to use with this phone?
A: The wireless carrier is TracFone. There are 2 main wireless systems that TracFone uses. The type or model of phone determines which wireless system the phone uses.

If the TracFone phone model ends with a "G", the phone uses a GSM network (like AT&T or T-Mobile). A GSM phone requires a SIM card to operate. A TracFone-specific SIM card is provided and is already inserted into the phone.

If the TracFone phone model ends with a "C", the phone uses a CDMA network (like Verizon or Sprint). A CDMA phone doesn't include nor require a SIM card.

Q: Can you use the phones other features with Wi-Fi without activating the service?
A: Certain apps and functions may function on Wi-Fi but not all. Talking and texting will not work solely on Wi-Fi; wireless service must be activated through TracFone.

Q: Are minutes charged if I text while connected to a Wi-Fi network?

Q: Will I incur any termination fees or penalties if I stop using the phone?
A: No.

Q: If I wish to stop my service, must I formally terminate service with TracFone?
A: No. You don't need to deactivate your device if you return the item. If your phone is lost or stolen, please contact TracFone to report it. They can suspend the service. When you replace the phone, contact TracFone so they may transfer your TracFone wireless number, along with any remaining balances, to your replacement device.

International Calling

Q: Can one make calls to Canada or Mexico?
A: Yes. You may call both Canada and Mexico (both landline and cellular phones) with no international long-distance fees. Your airtime minutes will be deducted as usual. TracFone offers over 100 international destinations for international long distance. Q: How do I dial an international number from my TracFone?
A: Call 800-706-3839. In Alaska, Hawaii, and the US Virgin Islands, dial 305-938-5673. Then select your language. Listen to the dialing instructions. Dial 011 + country code + city code + telephone number. Wait to be connected. Don't press any other key on your TracFone or you may be disconnected.

Q: Can you use the phone in Canada to call the US?
A: This phone cannot be used outside the United States, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Service is not guaranteed and may vary.
