A: Whitford XYLAN Plus® Nonstick Coating is a PFOA-free nonstick coating that has excellent durability thanks to three layers of reinforced nonstick coatings. This offers an alternative to traditional black nonstick coatings without compromising performance.

Q: Is the Cook's Essentials BBQ Grill Pans with removable inserts dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend hand washing with warm soapy water and dry immediately to preserve the nonstick for a longer period of time.

Q: Is the Cook's Essentials BBQ Grill Pans with removable inserts metal utensil-safe?
A: To keep the color looking its best, we suggest using wooden, plastic or silicone utensils when possible. Metal Utensils can quickly cause scratches on the nonstick surfaces.

Q: Why are there scratches on my pan?
A: If metal utensils are used it is normal for scratching and marring to be apparent over time in your nonstick surface. Please be assured that this does not generally affect the pan's nonstick performance or ability to release your food.

Q: Will the color wear off and will it stain?
A: With normal use on the BBQ please expect some discoloration and fading in the non-stick even after the first usage. These discolorations are normal given the wide variations in BBQ's. Discolorations will be more pronounced and rapid if you exceed the recommended working temperature. The temperature range is 350F–500F.

Q: Can I put it in the oven?
A: Not intended for conventional indoor oven use.

Q: Can I use my BBQ Grill Pan on a campfire?
A: No, we do not recommend using on an open flame.

A: Should be washed, rinsed and dried, then stored in a dry area.
