great when used properly
this product is thick pasty and sticky right out of the jar. however I've found it applies very well when preheated with hair dryer and applied to damp hair pretreated with wen conditioning cream after shampoo with cleansing conditioner. Hair remains soft but not fly away and holds a style throughout the day and evening.

Great product!
My husband uses this on his short hair nearly everyday. Similar products on the market left his scalp dry and his hair extremely dry. This holds perfectly for his style and doesn't have the negative side effects of other products. He's super happy with all of the Wen Men's products, but especially this one!

Great for men
I bought this along with the new cologne for my husband. The Wen Men smells amazing but we don't really notice it in this product. This works excellently for him when applied to wet hair just out of the shower. He uses a small amount in his hands to shape it into place and then just leaves it alone. It is dry shortly after and has a soft hold that lasts throughout the day. He even wakes up with styled hair sometimes. He used to use the styling cream but it just didn't last through the day. This is a better fit for his short hair.

Love Wen... hate this product :(
I was excited to try this product because I love ALL Wen hair products - I've never used a product that worked for me quite like Wen does. I have naturally curly hair that needs a whole bunch of stuff to make it "presentable." Wen is the first product I can actually "wash and go" without doing anything and my curls to do not frizz, etc. Wonderful. Can't say enough about it. I cut my hair short and have used other texture pastes and pomades and was excited to try this not only because it was from the Wen Men's line (love the fragrance) but because it was another Wen offering. It's literally like paste... paste from grammar school. So hard and sticky you can't even emulsify it in your hands after rubbing for a long time. it goes on tacky and stick and almost rips my hair out. And the smell is not Wen Men... sorry... this a miss. And while I normally write positive reviews about products I love this one I had to comment because it really is so far off the mark.
I have TWO of these... one that I purchased initially and the second that came as a package with the Cleansing Conditioner. I was hopeful that my first one was a "bad batch" but unfortunately it wasn't the case.

It doesnt smell good.
I can't say if it actually works because the smell is so bad I can't put it on my hair or anyone in my family. It smells like mosquito repellant. I need to send this one back.

Excellent Hold and Texture
Of all the Wen Men products, this is my favorite. Works best for me when applied to damp hair and air dry. Styles great and can be re-textured and style throughout the day. All day matte hold. Doesn't dry hands or scalp out like other mens' styling products I used to use. highly recommend, a little goes a long way!
