Smoothest blend ever!
Finally got mine in the light blue after being put on a later ship date. I must confess I considered canceling the order because it is such an expensive machine. But I am so happy I did not! My husband and i made the baked potato soup recipe for dinner and the strawberry lime sorbet. We are so impressed by the smooth consistency you get with blending whole foods. And both recipes were great. I am so excited to make whole food drinks tomorrow! And by the way it did not slide under the cabinet. But I was able to put the base under the cabinet and tilt the blending container onto the base and it fit under that way! Very pleased with our purchase!

FAVORITE PRACTICAL QVC PURCHASE EVER!
I don't know what else I can say about this kitchen wonder that hasn't already been said; but I am having so much healthy fun with it everyday that I simply had to say so in a review! Like many others, I watched numerous demos of this item on QVC over the years . . . I never doubted its claims and capabilities, but my family is grown and gone and couldn't justify the expense for just myself. I was wrong!! I have only been using it for the last 10 days, but it has been my food processor, smoothie maker and soup maker thus far; and I have love eating/drinking Vitamix creations where I KNOW every ingredient in it. Easy pay, free shipping and a color match of my kitchen [cobalt blue] and I had to take the plunge -- don't wait as long as I did!!

It IS all the hype!!
Love my new Vitamix!! It really does make everything smooth and I'm wierd about certain textures of food so this is the best Investment for me yet! Everything I've made has turned out great! Vitamix customer service is also great!! Love my Machine!!! Thanks for the easy pay QVC!

The Best Blending Machine Ever!!
I am so pleased with my purchase. I ordered the new espresso color and it is so beautiful. This is such an amazing machine and I love the recipe book. I've made banana waffles and they came out so light and fluffy and delicious. I make a healthy smoothie every morning I love my vita mix. Thank you QVC!

What took me so long?
I LOVE IT. I've been wanting a Vitamix for years and put it off because I didn't think I would use it that much - well, boy was I wrong. I'm making smoothies every day and getting in fruit and veggies that I normally would not eat. I got it in the Espresso color, very neutral color and looks good next to my black coffeemaker. I noticed some reviews said machine didn't work, would turn off abruptly ... well, yea, if you keep it running for too long, it will turn off and that's a good thing. I took the time and read the entire User's Manual and watched DVD before using. This machine was made to run with as little time and as fast as it can go. Enjoy, happy blending.

Impressive!
I've had my Vitamix for two days and am so impressed! The DVD was a great way to learn about all it's uses and the cookbook is so complete. So far I've done smoothies and a chilled cantaloupe soup. I can't wait to try more. It's time to get healthy!

I am in love with this after one use!
My test recipe for this product was Andalusian Gazpacho, which takes forever to make. You have to process it with a food processor and then strain and sieve it to get the correct smooth, velvety consistency. With the Vitamix, two minutes at high and I had my Gazpacho!
I also used it to puree corn, milk, butter, and flour for the thickening for a corn and fish chowder with excellent results. I ran the mixer until the contents were slightly thick, and finished the chowder in the pan.

Powerful, but overall, just a smoothie maker
If you like watery cole slaw, tamping down almost everything you mix except clear liguid, and apple juice that is more like liquidy apple sauce than this is for you. '
I have not decided yet if I am returning it. Also check the measurements. It does not fit under my cabinets in my kitchen.
And, really I did not want just a louder and more powerful smoothie maker.

Doesn't fit under my kitchen cabinets!
Just opened the box, and thought I would give this immediate feedback, since it was supposed to be small enough to fit. It's close, but will not go under with the lid the way it is.
The cookbook looks really great. Lots of photos. Guess I'll try some and use it awhile to see if it's really an inconvenience that it will not slide under my cabinets above my countertop.

Really Pleased
Ordered this when it was the TSV. It was delivered within a couple of days. We have made both fruit and veggies drinks and very were pleased with the outcome. This Vitamix has exceeded our expectations. The cookbook is also great, it gives you really good ideas and hints and very easy to follow directions. We'll be trying the Red Pepper Alfredo sauce next. Very happy we ordered it and very happy to have such a great quality product made in the USA!

Best Smoothie Maker EVER!!!!
Simply the best Smoothie maker EVER, does what is demonstrated during presentations have bought other machines in the past and have sent them ALL back, due to lack of performance! I will keep my Vitamix as this machine rocks to the core! My children and my husband are consuming more veggies than ever before, thank you Vitamix Creations for making a REAL no chunk smoothie maker !
