Valerie Bertinelli 4qt Lightweight Cast Iron Chef's Pot is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Set!! This Valerie Bertinelli cast iron chef's pot is very versatile and well thought out. Especially with the 2 different lids! We made homemade spaghetti sauce and it was the best batch ever! The clear lid allows you to stir well with the vented see through glass and the heavier cast iron lid allows optimum simmering. You will not regret this purchase!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lightweight but Everything Sticks I really wanted to love this product and have used it multiple times in different scenarios. Unfortunately, every time I use the pan it sticks. It sticks so much that you have to soak the pan in order for it to come clean. It's a great size and shape, however, and I love the lightweight feel of this pan. Not only does the pan stick, it becomes discolored as well and I needed to use Barkeeper's Friend in order to remove the stains. I will definitely need to donate this pan and find something else that doesn't stick and is easy to clean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Burns This is my first experience with cast iron & braising. But three times I used it, the moisture evaporated out with the iron lid and started to burn the food. The last time was in the oven at 250. I guess I thought it was supposed to stay moist. Color and design are beautiful

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Design I was excited to receive this very pretty pan. Others like it were way too expensive for me to consider. After using this pan consistently I have found that the food always sticks to the bottom no matter what I am cooking or how low the heat. I need to spend the extra money on the better quality products. As they say “penny wise and pound foolish”. The only product that cleans the enamel well is Bio Clean. Sold at QVC.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cast Iron, No Doubt This gem is plenty heavy, the cast iron lid in particular. My first time out I baked a potato casserole. The food stuck to the pan and required a bit of elbow grease to clean off. And be warned: the finish scratches easily so be careful not to use metal implements. Its a pretty pan. Vivid yellow. Its on display in my kitchen (its big and I have no place to store it). It effectively brightens the room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo happy! Absolutely beautiful! I love this pot much more than my old beloved le crucete. Rich bold color and top of the line quality! Perfect size and two lids! I also got the cute mugs to go with it. Please, please expand your product line! Love everything you do Valerie!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from FAULTY ENAMEL I LOVE Valerie Bertinelli (who doesn't?) and wanted to love her pan too, but not so. Although the design is superb--best I've seen anywhere--the execution is not: The enamel around the inside top of the pot is uneven to the point that it looks chipped in 2 areas. These flawed areas are big enough to notice, each about an inch long. For this reason alone, I am returning the pot. Lack of quality control seems to be a persistent problem at QVC in SOME brands. Am I the only one who is tired of overrated cheap Chinese junk presented as "quality." Can we please see some Made in America merch? I am willing to pay for top quality. Thank you for listening.
