Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traeger Was easy to put together. Followed instructions and wow the best pulled pork ever made. This is literally the easiest smoker I have just put in your meat and leave it alone and you have the most amazing dinner ever. You don’t have to babysit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job Its ok. Legs are aweful poor design, wobbly, and have since been revised on new model not sold by QVC. Dont let video fool you, if your smoking food, you will go thru pellets quickly, not like a tank of propane as they claim... smoking takes time and time uses pellets. So be forwarned. Cooks pretty good, but 600 bucks is steep price to pay so think about it dont buy on impulse...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from !!! CAUTION EVERYONE !!! READ... !!!! We got our Traeger 2 weeks ago and immediately loved it. All day yesterday we slow cooked ribs, when they were done - we put some chicken in to cook, turned up the temperature and within short time.... it "EXPLODED " - NO KIDDING - it sounded like the Traeger "BLEW UP" AND IT DID. Checked the Traeger instructions and it said you could do it... so what went wrong. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT YOUTUBE VIDEOS... THIS IS A THING. Search: "Traeger Blew up". It has to do with changing the temperature during a cooking cycle... too many pellets drop into the chamber. WOW - TRAEGER -- DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS... SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT. PUT a "Caution" sign or be sure to describe this like " READ BEFORE USE... OR UNIT WILL BLOW UP". Maybe QVC should put this in their videos... if we don't know, how can we be careful !!! This is scarey and QVC SHOULD NOT SELL TILL TRAEGER DOES SOMETHING - or QVC could be responsible too. Today we clean out the box that was on fire and burned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Smoker/BBQ grill I read all the reviews on this product after I ordered it. When my Traeger arrived I was worried about the assembly which could not have gone smoother. It took about 20 minutes to read through the instructions and attach the pieces. We put in the pellets and turned on the power - it worked like a charm. Very easy to operate. My guests for the 4th of July celebration enjoyed the food and a couple even want to buy a Traeger so I referred them to QVC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend First let me start out by saying I love my Traeger. I will agree with some of the people that the assembly instructions are not well written. Additionally, the parts card that I received did not match the instructions as QVC has a card that is different from those that are sold at retail. The Traeger customer service team sent me a picture and I was able to match the part card of QVC with the parts card that Traeger normally includes and after that, it was smooth sailing. In fact, when I told the Rep at Traeger my issue he said “QVC purchase” without my telling him where I bought it Also be aware you will have parts left over as it is a standardized package rather than one specific to just this unit. I would highly recommend that you watch the Traeger videos on break in on their YouTube channel. Based on other reviews I think the problem is people did not read the instructions or look at the Trager’s website to see how to properly use or break-in the smoker/grill. I have used it for chicken, burgers, steaks, and ribs and all of the meals we have done on it have been excellent. For me what the Traeger has given me is the convenience of a gas grill with the flavor that we really want. I highly recommend this Smoker/Grill and you are not going to find a better price than what QVC has on it based on what I saw on the Traeger site and other retail sites

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Set it & Forget It I like the Traeger smoker. Wood pellets easy to find. I've smoked chicken, burgers, hot dogs, brisket, ribs and soon salmon. However, the Traeger easily goes into Ler error and turns off unexpectedly. I've read it shuts off if it can't maintain temperature of 140°. I watched the temp plunge after just 2 hours. I shut it off and restarted, it went to correct temp just fine. Seems an electronic problem. Also read this happens more often in cold or windy weather. This summer in Texas, it was never cold, sometimes windy. I've not been able once to keep it on for 6 hours at a temp of 225° without it going into Ler and shutting off. So use it on perfectly warm, non windy days when you can watch it like a hawk!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great smoker, poor grill If you're interested in smoking meat low and slow, this is the product for you. If you want something to hold temperatures of 400+ do not buy this. Despite what the temperature settings are, the Traeger cannot maintain temperature of more than 375 degrees. I have tried burgers and steaks a few times and am always disappointed. I've returned to using my indoor grill pan for those. Side note: the assembly instructions were horrendous. Part numbers did not match, descriptions were ambiguous, diagrams were way too small, etc. It took hours to put this together and my husband is a contractor with 30+ years experience. I cannot imagine what others with no experience with tools had to go through.
