Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could not activate I received the phone but when I attempted to activate it had no service PIN associated with it. The phone was purchased because of the service plan that came with... without that it's just another phone & worthless to me. I spoke to a nice QVC customer service tech who was unable to solve the problem and was going to "send it up the line" for help; said it might take 5 days to receive a response. 10 days later with no response I sent an email help message via this site. STILL no response. Going to have to return this phone as it cannot be activated and customer service has been no help.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Poor Customer Service From TracFone After watching your show about the TracFone, I ordered one on April 16, 2017. The problems, while minor, the phone worked okay. In January 2018, the TracFone came on sale again on QVC so I bought one as an eventual replacement. I activated it in about May 2018 when my original phone started failing. The original phone was an LG. The new one is a Samsung. The new phone has had nothing but problems since activating it. The biggest problems are, I get only zero to one bar when using the phone (calls are constantly dropped) and it takes sometimes a day for a text to send. My location has not changed so that cannot be a factor. When I spoke to customer service this week I thought they were sending me a replacement phone. What I received today was a FedEx envelope requesting I send the old phone back first. I told the customer service rep (Ed) that while the phone has problems, to send it back first would leave me entirely without any communication. This is not acceptable that I should be without my phone. In addition, instead of me just being able to transfer all data from my old phone to the new one (as I did when I activated the phone) Ed suggested I write down all my phone numbers on a piece of paper then manually add them to the new phone. Also, Ed said I should download all my pictures on my computer then re-transfer them after I get the new phone. I'm outraged by his suggestions and TracFone's lack of customer service. This is the first company I've ever dealt with that wants their inoperative phone back before sending the replacement. That is my only form of communication and TracFone is suggesting that I go as much as two weeks without my phone. Unless TracFone changes their policy, I'm urging QVC stop advertising them on your show or listing them online. I will certainly tell everyone I come into contact with not to buy their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first smartfone This is my first smartfone. I have had 2 tracfones for many years and now have graduated to a smart one. So far, I'm enjoying it's capabilities, and the apps available. I know it will not dominate my life as so many folks have permitted their phones to become. I have never been tied to my phone, and use then as a necessity not a obsession. Anthow, I'm pleased with the phone, and look forward to using it for years to come.
