Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this phone with the understanding I would still qualify for triple minutes. When I activated the phone on 2/2/19 with assist from Tracfone chat I was told I could not get triple minutes. I do not feel like I am getting what I paid for. When I did activate using the serial number provided on the red card-this is not the number I see on my account. I told the representative that I had not entered the sim number anywhere and was told it was automatically entered when I added the serial number. It looks like my serial number may have been transferred from my previous phone. I get emails from tracfone saying I no longer have a tracfone registered although it is my understanding that this is a tracfone. I would have transferred everything back to my former phone and returned this but read that if I did this I would only get a third of the data/minutes and text that I had on this new phone so I felt like I had no choice but to keep the phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No activation outside of PA The phone package was extremely nice, however, nowhere did I see the warning that this phone could not be activated outside of the area in which it was purchased. This led to a very disappointed granddaughter on Christmas Eve plus it cost me money in the return process. One of my few disappointments in all my years of shopping the Q.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEVER AGAIN! I have purchased two tracfones through QVC. The phones are okay. The problem is with tracfone. They double charged me when I added minutes, I also purchased an international long distance card and it was never accredited to the account. When I called tracfone, they told me that I used the minutes. NOT SO! THE MINUTES WERE NEVER CREDITED TO MY Account. Now I have to go to my bank to get a charge back and the bank told me that in all likelihood, tracfone will deny it, because they have had this problem with them before. I SINCERELY WISH THAT QVC WOULD DISCONTINUE SELLING tracfones. This company is based out of Mexico and it is nearly impossible to get anything done. I believe there is a serious breach of security with tracfone. The FCC is closed due to the government shut down. But, I will pursue this with the FCC as soon as the shutdown is over. Tracfone is a sham! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kudos to QVC Something to consider before purchasing a tracfone. I have had 5 lg tracfones over the years and have been very pleased with the phones as a rule. However having to talk to csr's, supervisors, or managers because of problems is the most frustrating experience to have to go through. In Oct. I purchased time for my phone. Money came out of my checking account for the purchase but time was not put on my phone. I spent 5 hours in one day on the phone. After speaking with a very rude supervisor which hung up on me and a manager problem finally taken care of but my phone was put in inactive status then in disconnect status. In oct. I purchased a new phone. Activated new phone and 1500 mins. that was supposed to go on phone never happened. More hrs. on phone and problem not solved. My sister lives with me and is very sick. I do not have a land line and have to have a cell for emergencies. Called QVC. They are sending a new phone and said I could keep the one I have until received. Thank You QVC. You rock!!! Wish I could say the same for Tracfone. Worst customer service ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Fifth TracFone Now that I have the TracFone (and have had for probably five years now) I can't see EVER using anything else. The caveat: my needs are super-simple. I text, call, use the alarm and Google stuff. That's it. I have a giga-ton of data that keeps rolling over because I don't use it. And you can add like 1,000 texts or calls for like five bucks. The screen is great, the camera is fine. I have never had an $800 cell, so I can't compare the camera quality, but unless you are Ansel Adams, you are gonna be happy. I am old - 57 - and I probably only have six apps loaded, but the cell works great. Battery lasts as long as anybody's. When this is on a TSV it's like 90 bucks and that will last you at least a year. At least. I see the ads on TV for cells that are "only $40 a month" and I'm not sure that they do anything (for me) that warrants spending that kind of money. It's super easy to program, took us less than 20 minutes to get it going...one phone call. Buy this for your parents/grandparents/anybody with regular cell needs. I have been able to play multi-player games with my nephews even! They had to load it, but that's on me. I'm a tech-idiot. I've never had an issue & will continue to get TracFones 'til judgment day =) Cheers...Stacee

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hope you have patience This is my 3rd tracfone. The phone itself is fine. The problem is with the activation. I have never had such a problem activating a tracfone as I did with this phone. After 5 days and numberous phone calls, they finally got it together and the phone is working. Meanwhile I was without my old phone. They shut that one down to get this one working. Just a warning to you if you are considering buying this phone.
