Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding tool I found the claw easy to use and manipulate round flower beds, it does seem to pull the whole weed out with less effort required from me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT purchase! I purchased the Garden Claw cultivator by the Grouchy Gardener. Best purchase made since his secateurs. Here in this part of California the ground is full of river rock from the gold dredging. The Claw gets the weeds out at the root despite the Rocks! No more hand digging with a trowel! I finally have a tool that even gets the bulb like roots of wild garlic which has been my nemesis for years! Thank you, Thank you from a very Happy Gardener.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too big a Hole I should have read the reviews before purchasing but I didn't. Not like me. This creates a hole that is too big and you need to replace the soil so I'm going to find other uses for this, which I haven't found as yet but am working on it. It was extremely hard to use on compacted soil as well. Too expensive to send back so I'm stuck. Ken in a retirement community at the Jersey shore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from digs and digs I purchased this product for specifically digging up weeds. And I'm not disappointed with the results. It doesn't take a lot of strength to dig them up with the CLAW.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Ordered this used item and it doesn't work in Rocky clay soil. Waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth even trying I have tried ever way possible to get this to work, without any success. Maybe because my dandelion is in real ground soil not loosely packed soil in a box. If you are able to remove the weeds have some dirt with you to fill in the HUGE hole. Don't waist your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SO CONVENIENT AND EFFICIENT I just used the Garden Claw Cultivator to pull weeds yesterday for the first time. I am quite pleased that it is as advertised. It even pulled up the toughest weeds with larger roots. Only one twist was needed for each weed. It was a bonus not to have to bend or squat down in tight spaces in the garden. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no easy release mechanism to shake the weed and dirt from the grip of the claw. One must manually tug out each clump. Other than that, I now consider this a necessary tool in the garden.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well Yes it works well. That being said, I had to use it twice to get the weed out. You have to push harder than the "gentle pressure" in the instructions. The whole root did come out, and the claw released easier than the "Grampa's weeder" that I have used.
