TP-Link Dual-Band Wireless Wall Plug Range Extender is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good device but setup and management needs work I am using this primarily with the IOT devices in my garage. The device is farily easy to set up, however, for some functions you need to use the app and for others you must log into the device with a web browser. The device is difficult to find once set up when you want to make changes with the browser. Better integration between the app and browser would really help. For example, you should be able to block devices from web site, not just app. Neither the app nor web page are particularly intuitive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product The product does its job very well and is great for the purpose. It is very easy to set up and works flawlessly. I only have two remarks/suggestions to make it even better: 1 - If you are (like me) using the MAC filtering feature on your router, beware! Your devices connected to the RE200 will appear to the router with new different MAC addresses and will be rejected. After a lot of search I found the explanation and instructions on how to proceed in TP-LINK's FAQ, but it took me a lot of time and I came very close to returning the product as faulty. It would be better to include these instructions in the standard setup instructions. 2. You cannot change the channels for 2.4 or 5 GHz operation. If you are unlucky, you may be stuck in a high congestion zone even if there is clear space on other channels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Buy! I live in a mobile home in a mobile home park. The metal in my home and surrounding buildings constantly interfered with the wireless Internet reception and my cell phone. To correct the cell phone problem, I changed providers and bundled my smart phone and Internet reception. Reception to the front of my home was absolutely amazing with the new service...no dropped calls, no interference of any kind, etc., but still weak at the rear bedroom of my home. Then I read about this TP-Link Dual-Band Wireless Wall Plug Range Extender. I decided to buy and install one. - I followed the installation guide, plugged the device into a bedroom wall outlet, and watched the lights as the device "found" my Internet connection. I waited just a few minutes, then looked at my phone to see four full bars on the screen (where there had only been 1 in the immediate past)! I turned on my laptop in the same room, and was so happy to see the overall quality and speed of its connection to the Internet! Ditto with my tablet, with no diminished serve while all three were operating. I can now take phone calls and watch movies not only INSIDE my home, but also outside on my carport-patio. I am very impressed with this range extender, and have recommended it to my neighbors who reside in the same mobile home park. It is a perfect "fix" for our common problem here. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from small but very helpful device The AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender was too easy to setup. I just followed the steps in the manual and it was as simple as 1-2-3. I can now access internet in my extended bedroom where the connectivity was always an issue. I am happy to try this product. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would definitely recommend this to anyone This was an extremely easy extender to set up. This is currently being used with the TP-Links AC1750 router. The setup for this extender took less than five minutes. I live on the third floor and am able to reach my wifi now in the far corners of the parking lot. With fast speeds. I tested the speed of the extender with the AC1750 three times in order to get a somewhat accurate list of statistics. Below are the average ping, upload and download speeds: Ping: 9 Download Speed: 107.59 mbps Upload Speed: 5.96 mbps I have a few phones, tablet, xbox, and smart TV running off of this setup and have not noticed any lag. Overall very happy with the product. Submitted as part of a free sample program.
