TCL 49" Class S-Series 4K UHD HDR Roku Smart TV is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Call me Impressed! The voices are awesome. Sometimes I think it is a real person in the room or outside! No need for a sound bar to hear what people are saying! The picture quality is better than any tv I have ever owned. Everything looks 3D and I can't use 3D glasses for some reason; they don't work for me. I am very happy with this purchase. Thank you TCL for excellent quality and thank you QVC for making it affordable for me on easy pay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I am very critical about technology, as I am a technical enthusiast who takes seriously real reviews, information and related customer experiences and objective information to come to conclusions about product quality. I also work for one of the world's largest technology companies. Only reason I say this is to be taken a bit more serious than a run of the mill novice who buys this and has no clue or perspective from a point of view of someone who knows quality at a high level. This TV is frankly showcases the fastest response times I've ever seen, and my living room has a 65" Samsung that cost $1400 and the picture on this is not just responsive, but outstanding. I was originally skeptical, but I have already been aware of the TCL brand as they started out making screens for other major brands, but those brands put their labels on them. With TCL everything is in house. This thing is everything they say it is and more. The HDR is okay, not the best, but the blacks are actually black which is amazing. What surprised me also was that the sound isn't bad straight out of the box. It gets pretty loud, and you can change all the sound and color settings even at advanced levels, most especially when it comes to the great color profiles. There is actually presence in the soundbar that shoots down from the bottom of the TV. The bass isn't that great, but the presence, which gives the sound that Dolby digital type of sound where you can actually hear the voices as if they are in the room, it's very much present here. The bass is good enough to make its presence known, but I still re on end maybe purchasing a nice TV bar with subwoofer as no TV three days has a decent sound bar, but this is actually acceptable by itself. The Roku interface frankly blew me away. I actually have zero complaints and that's saying something. I moved away recently from Amazon as I've had some latency issues with the Amazon stick and was tired of it restarting on me in the middle of a show. I love Amazon, but if your going to get that, may I suggest the Amazon cube which supports 4K streaming. This not only made me a TCL fan, but the quick power setting which has this instant on type of feel, was frankly amazing. Nothing Ive owned is this fast. This thing is lightening fast, as each button press is instant. No long, drawn out waits. The picture is bright, solid and almost feels like a much higher end model, and the HDR is well defined, separating front from back lighting areas, which makes it look real life, and deeper more rich color gamut can also be presented. I'm honesty blown away by this TV literally. Oh and I forgot to mention, that if you connect any HDMI, especially for gaming, make sure to go into HDMI settings, switch the version to 2.0 which supports HDR and your experience will be greatly improved. This is also the first TV I've ever mad where I can hook my headphones to the roku app on my smartphone and literally interface with the TV 100% and the Roku app works with ALL providers, even the Android app store which is crazy. If you are on the fence, take it from a nerd. This is the TV for you that gives you a budget price at the cost of a cheapo forgetful TV. But you don't get a cheap TV nor a cheap experience. This is probably twice the quality for half the price. Crazy. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
