Disappointed
I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about this product and about the essence concept. My skin is normal to dry and in great condition because I have always taken excellent care of it. I tried this product for a week and my skin went from normal to dry. I am now needing a thicker moisturizer to return my skin to its previous condition. It might work on oily skin. It certainly didnt do a thing fo me adding another product to my daily routine. In my case it was a waste. Going back today.

A Staple In My Daily Skin Routine
Love love love this stuff , it keeps my skin soft and bouncy. I use it after facial cleansing and before and after a facial mask. It really does help your skin serums and masks work better. I can’t live without it!

Heat Rash
Every time I used this after I showered I'd get a heat rash that lasted for HOURS. Literally looked like water blisters on my face. (on top of the mini hard bumps that was from using the rice face cleanser - that wasn't a rash & didn't show signs of going away until 2+ mos after discontuning the Tatcha regime). Water felt refreshing when it was applied & especially when not used just after shower I didn't get the bumps, unless it was a warm or hot day. So use after you've cooled from shower or don't use in a hot day. Living in the California Central Valley, I don't have time for or ability to avoid the heat. I will say that once I stopped using this product, I no longer experienced the heat rash like symtoms/experiences. The UPSIDE to this product is that when the rashes subsided my skin was the softest I think it ever has been in my life. But..... having a visibly & obvious rash (98% of the time I used this) that literally lasted for hours, 4-6-8+ it wasn't worth using it. I went through 2 full TSV kits before throwing the towel in & going back to my previous skin care routine, Perricone MD which I purchase from QVC too.

Favorite Beauty Product
I’m a nurse. When I started it was common to medicate a patient with an injection of narcotics with another medication I called a potentiator. The potentiator would make the narcotic work better and last longer. That’s what this product does for your serums and moisturizers. It helps it to absorb better and keep your skin hydrated longer. I have family members ask me why I don’t have as many wrinkles in my skin as I use too. It because of this product working with other products from this line and Dr. Perricone’s. It not just water like one of the reviews said. I don’t ever want to be without it.

Fantastic second step in Tatcha ritual
I love this product because it sets your skin so all remaining products, serums and moisturizers, are readily absorbed into your skin, so you get the full benefits of the other products. I find all the products in Tatcha skincare are extremely beneficial and do what they say they will do for your skin.
