Balanced out my oily skin - no longer oily!
Though I initially did not love this oil (the scent is a bit strong for me and also it seemed a it oily upon application until it slowly absorbed), I’ve seen long term benefits with continued use. I’ve always had a very oily t-zone and always needed to use oil absorbing paper in the middle of the day (I use Tatchas). I only recently realized that slowly I’ve stopped needing to absorb oil because I just don’t have much oil anymore! I got a facial recently and the facialist said she can tell I take really good care of my skin and even mentioned that my skin seemed to be formerly oily. I mentioned that I used to get cystic acne years ago and always had very oily skin and she was amazed and impressed. That was the moment I realized that my skin has changed since using this oil. I would suggest using it for 6 months daily and then see if it changes your skin too! I first use the essence as my first step, then mix 2 drops of this oil into one of tatchas serums, and I don’t use any moisturizer after that.

Luxurious Lightweight Oil is a Game Changer
I am so in love with this oil! I have the driest skin, so even the most moisture drenched creams never leave me feeling fully moisturized. However, I’ve never had good luck with oils; they’re either too greasy, too heavily fragranced, or not rich enough. I had a good feeling about Tatcha’s Gold Camellia Oil, though, and I was right! I blend it into my current moisturizer and suddenly, my skin feels and looks so deeply hydrated and well nourished. A major complaint that I had as I turned forty was how dull my skin was looking, but with this oil, it is now so radiant and luminous yet never greasy or shiny. The light fragrance is so beautiful and dissipates quickly so as not to compete with your fragrance or irritate your skin. This lightweight formula absorbs quickly, but is incredibly moisturizing and effective. The oil’s tiny gold flakes dissolve and give your skin an added beautiful luminosity, but no worries- no sparkles! I will even take a drop and apply it to the high points of my cheekbones as a subtle but gorgeous highlight!
I cannot say enough about this fabulous product, but I can say that this is a must try! I know it will quickly become an integral part of your skincare routine.

Holy Grail Beauty Oil
I use this on everything. My face, my hair, even my cuticles. It is amazing, feels silky without feeling oily. And the scent is to die for. I started out with the travel size and quickly planned my budget to purchase the full size.

Smells great but not for my skin
I love the smell but it didn't do much for my face. It made my face feel a little itchy and red so I only use it for my hair, which it makes it smell good and feel soft. I was disappointed that it didn't work out for me considering how much I paid for it, and I had to take the gold thing off around the cap otherwise it wouldn't open. Really was excited to try Tatcha products, and I really want to get the Violet C mask but so far the Tatcha products that I have tried don't really do much for skin :(

Wow!
I’m not all usually one to write reviews and nor am I usually one to see a difference in my skin with most products. Thats thanks to years of cystic acne and rosaea. I had to review the Tatcha Gold Camelia Oil the day I first put it ob my face though because with just a tiny little drop my skin became instantly smoother and BRIGHTER. This is very much so worth the cost. For anyone wondering, I got the travel size as my friend did. She has had this for a year now and it still hasnt run out. Overall I’m very much satisfied :)

Used once and broke out on my checks with deep painful acne. Sorry Tatcha, this is going to be returned

It doesn't absorb
I have combination skin. I was really looking forward to using this product, it just sits on top of my skin. I even tried applying it right out of the shower, it just never absorbed. Sadly I will be returning this one.

Just what I needed
The dry skin routine just isn't enough for my skin, especially now that winter is here. I've used oils under moisturizer in the past but I have to be super careful which oil because even though I'm very dry, oils make me break out. I bought the travel size of this to see his my skin would fare and I love it! It def gives me a more luminous glow if used over primer or makeup, and my skin feels so soft even if I bake my concealer. As part of my skincare, it's added a soft glow, and helped keep my skin moisturized without being sticky or oily. So far I haven't broken out, but I won't buy a full size until I've tried at least two travel bottles to make sure it doesn't break me out. I assumed it would be fine bc it has the same flower oil as the oil cleanser and that stuff is magic for not breaking me out. I have a feeling this is going to be another fab product I won't be able to live without.
