5 years later, none of them are "nonstick"
I bought this set 5 years ago and had to write a new review. None of the pans are nonstick anymore. Everything sticks to them now. I researched these pans for weeks before buying them and wish I hadn't. You would think this would be the last set of pans I would ever need, right? Wrong. $600 is a lot of money for something to only last 5 years.

Love These Pans!
Have had the set for about six months now and they still look so nice. Food slides out like a dream. I never put them in the dishwasher, just soapy water with a soft brush.
They take a little getting used to because they take a minute to heat, so boiling water can take a little longer. I was hesitant to pay so much, but I’m glad I bought them. The bottoms are a brushed metal and my gas stove grids have put a few scratches on the bottom, but the rest of the pan has not chipped, scratched or dulled. Once they heat up, you have to lower the heat because they conduct so well. Beautiful set!

Awesome cookware
I have been looking for a set like this for a long time. I have purchased many of CHEF sets, only to be disappointed by them. I know this is expensive, but if you take care of it, they will be the last set to ever buy again. I'm tired of throwing my money in the garbage can, on empty promises of what good quality my cookware is(Chefs say). Now I save my money and purchase extra pieces. I highly recommend this set. PLEASE read the instructions on care and usage and you will have no problems.

Take care of it and it is a GREAT set
This is a great set. Perfect weight; cool touch handles; LOVE them. But remember they are non-stick so you have to handle them with care. Read the instructions - no non-stick sprays, medium heat only, if you are going to use oils/butter than know what types to use and what types to avoid, don't put them in the dishwasher, no metal utensils, store them properly etc. Then they will last. Non-stick is for non-stick type of cooking. Stainless steel is for stainless steel type of cooking. Do your research and know the difference.

quality control
I purchased this set since other reviews were so positive...my experience is the lids do not fit properly...largest pot was out of round and the smaller pieces also had a gap but to a much lesser degree. I was disappointed in the overall quality control issues. Pans are very nice if those issues are addressed.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I was searching QVC for a cook wear set for my two sons who have recently moved out of the house. They both love to cook (thanks to me) so I wanted something nice and utilitarian. When I saw that QVC now carries Swiss Diamond, I was ecstatic! My mom bought me the small skillet last year and it is my go-to pan. I have a nice set, Magnalite, but now that I can buy Swiss Diamond on Easy Pay, I'm getting my dream set and my boys are getting the hand-me-downs. No stick, no scratches, even cooking and soooo easy to clean. Many times I just have to wipe it out. My kids have used it and it is kid proof. I can't say enough. There's something about spending the extra $ when you know you are getting something that will be around for a long time.

I LOVE THIS SET!!
This set is well worth the money! It's not a flimsy, lightweight set, but it's not your grandma's cast iron either. I have bought many sets of pots & pans from big box department stores, typically every couple of years, because handles break, the non-stick surface gets sticky or flakes off, the pieces warp.. You name it, I've had pots & pans do it. So, I did my research, bit the bullet, & bought this set, & I couldn't be happier!! THIS SET IS HUSBAND PROOF! If your spouse, kids, etc are anything like mine you have fought the battles of metal utensils being used on your pretty cookware, &/or you have walked into the kitchen time & time again to find dirty dishes with dried on food.. This set takes it like a champ. Bring on the forks, spoons, etc! My hubby has a tendency to make breakfast & leaves the dirty dishes for me to find hours later when I wake up, & dried on food is inevitable.. but these pans come clean as new quickly with no elbow grease required. This set has definitely been one of the best purchases I've ever made & I definitely plan on buying more pieces from this line!

Best Cookware EVER
I have always loved to cook, but hate to clean up and
the frustating thing about most non-stick
surfaces is that they have to be re-seasoned after
going in the dishwasher. I have been most pleasently surprised
that the cookware releases so well and is so EASY to clean,
that I rarely put them in the dishwasher, but when I do they come out
clean and ready to use and R U serious... a "non-stick" cookware
set that guarantee's and condones the use of metal utensils. WOW!!
Heat distribution is outstanding, so much so that with an outdated
stove like mine cooks evenly. I would expect this cookware to be
a chefs choice in the finest restaurants worldwide.
So, rather than buying a nice set of T-Fal, then later a nice stainless
steel cookware set then just buy this set and be pleasently surprised and
be very pleased with your purchase instead of having two rather expensive
cookware sets and still frustrated because of the "re-seasoning" or "must"
handwash everything.
This cookware set, along with with QVC's satifaction guarantee makes
this a must (at least try) 1st choice for any serious cook.
If it is not everything you expect, repack and send it back, but you should
really try it...
