Would be cool
This actually is a cool concept but mine was missing the darn book and it was a gift, so embarrassing, I tried to get QVC to replace it but after months of trying and being told they would, they decided not to even though they had the one I bought in stock. I also tried reaching out to the makers who actually have so many items missing from their sets that they have a whole web page dedicated to it! Nonetheless they never even responded to my inquiry and replacement request. Sooooo, I guess if you want this, buy it in person somewhere and make sure everything is there or be willing to yank a toy your kid is playing with away and send it back to QVC. So yes, I can recommend the actual item but only if you purchase it in person somewhere, please heed my warning and don't trust the maker or QVC to do the right thing.

Story Time Come To Life
Bought this for a five year old girl. She loves story time and reenacting the stories she knows. This was a perfect gift for her! As we were reading the story she would use the play set to keep current with the events. Then afterwards, she sat for a long time retelling story and playing with the set. Great way to get kids using their imaginations again! Love this set and will probably buy the other two as well.

Great idea
I bought all 3 of these for my 4 year old great niece and she loved them. She was really into putting the pieces together and worked independently. Great concept for kids. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Quality And FUN!
These books and play sets are AMAZING! My niece and nephew loved them and spend hours playing, acting out the stories and making up their own. Great for imagination and creativity!
