Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Band of Sunshine My ring is lighter in color with deeper golden tones, and not the brownish ones as shown. But it isn't pale, by any means. With vivid and sparkly approximately 5mm Citrines, this ring looks like its been set with 18K Yellow Gold transparent stones. Very pretty on its own, but when I've worn it with two narrow 2mm diamond-cut 18K yellow gold bands, it's spectacular. . Beyond the bright and saturated yellow of this Citrine, and the blue, green, and red of the Topaz J311188, Peridot J311194, and Garnet J311192---which I couldn't resist---is the understated metal presence of this low-profile ring, but especially the open-work gallery that allows more light to come through the stones. In settings with more dominant prongs, more enclosed galleries, and more metal, these gemstones wouldn't be able to sparkle like they sparkle in this perfectly-designed style. With this setting, colors burst open. . It's certainly not my practice to purchase the same jewelry pieces in 4's, but after searching off-and-on for about two years for a low-profile clear gemstone band ring no wider than about 5mm, I finally found this one. And although I DO have admirable self-control when it comes to jewelry, I couldn't pass these beauties up. (Also available in Amethyst J311186, but would like to see it offered in Diamonique, too.) The FIT of this ring is in my Blue Topaz review. . Only because I've read this over the years on a number of negative reviews for gemstone pieces, and would forget to address it in my own reviews, is this: If you ever receive an item that appears dull with no sparkle, before preparing to return give it a mild soap and warm water cleaning. You might be very surprised just like I was about 15 years ago. The 4 carat African Amethyst ring I couldn't wait to receive was so lack-luster it appeared nearly opaque. Ready to pack it up, I suddenly thought, why not, and gave it a bath. A deep clear radiant purple, with zillions of brilliant pink and magenta pin-point sparkles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty but... The stones are pretty but the setting does not show off any sparkle. The fit is a bit small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty ring This is a very pretty ring in a very nice setting. My usual size fit as expected. The citrine is a paler color than some others but looks very nice in the silver-colored setting. I wanted to stack it with another ring but it was too wide for that. Disappointed to have to send it back!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable The ring is very beautiful but I found it to be uncomfortable. The stones hit the finger on either side. Also it is diamonique rather than genuine citrine as I had thought when I purchased it.
