Stamina AMRAP rower
Well built and comparable to Concept 2 in design and quality. However the monitor does not measure or show split times (time per 500 metres) which is the most useful metric for any serious rower. This is a major deficiency.

Solid but assembly is more than tightening bolts
Vendors always ask for these reviews before you have much chance to use the product and see how it holds up. Not super easy to assemble. Needed some minor metal grinding and use of rubber hammer to finally get it assembled. During assembly we discovered a small plastic buckle had arrived broken. Call to customer service was easy and response was prompt. Based on limited use it seems the rower is very well made and works very well. Really glad we purchased it.

Similar to Concept 2 but better price, loose nut?
As compared to a Concept 2, the standard for rowing machines, the stamina X AMRAP performs very closely but at a much nicer price. From the few workouts I have done, the feeling is almost identical between the two machines and I found I actually prefer the seat for the AMRAP. In terms of quality, some of the plastic components on the fan and underneath the bar feel slightly flimsier.
Downsides:
- I don't believe the AMRAP calculates drag factor, meaning your results are not calibrated for true effort and times can not be compared between machines such as how the concept 2 is used for competitions and records. I am curious to see if this will affect my 2k time (as I was a few seconds off from a sub-7min on a concept 2, not having true effort calculated on the AMRAP means I may not be confident whether I actually achieve this time). Although, I have not found much of a difference in my times for distances so far and have felt a similar level of intensity for my split times.
- Split times are only shown with preset conditions and don't appear when just rowing such as when warming up.
- Lack of bluetooth capabilities for the monitor.
I found I had the same issue as another reviewer where there was a hex nut stuck in the fan that was rattling. I thought at first a component had broken when I was initially rowing till I took the fan apart to remove it. Strange that it has happened to two purchasers?
In summary, the AMRAP is a great rowing machine alternative to the Concept 2 that comes at a much nicer price. For any serious/top level athletes it will fall short with no bluetooth/true effort comparisons. For all other recreational athletes I would highly recommend this machine over any of the much cheaper rowing machines on the market.

X AMRAP rower
I have owned a Concept II rower in another state. I ordered this when I saw the price but the shape and lines of it were very similar so I gave it a try. As it turns out, I am loving it so far!

Great rower.
Excellent machine.we bought this instead of concept 2 ,not knocking them but we have a great rower and saved 400 dollars.thats not a small thing. Easy assembly smooth quiet operation 5 stars.

Buy one, you won't be disappointed!
I love this rower! I always wanted a Concept 2 but didn't want to spend that much money. This rower is fantastic, well made, heavy duty construction. Pretty much all of the same features as that other rower at a much better price.
