Rated 1 out of 5 by from Policy is not what you pay for I bought my computer 3 years ago from QVC. Dell Inspiron 15. Terrible laptop. It has been a problem from day one. Extremely slow but I put up with it until it crashed last year. The Windows 10 was corrupt and this time, could not boot up. Last year, Square Trade told me to take the laptop to Best Buy for repairs which I did and was reimbursed. Since the Windows 10 was corrupt I lost a lot of data even though I had an external back up. Along with that I lost all the Square Trade agreement info. So this time I took the lap top to Best Buy and was repaired but now Square Trade did not want to reimburse me because I did not send to them 1st. I advised I did not have to do that last year and they told me that was a one time deal. I told them the computer should not fail 2 times within a year. Finally after much arguing they are reimbursing me the cost of the actual warranty $159.99, which is very close to the cost of repairs. I still have not received the check, so we will see. Long story short, I will never by a computer from QVC again along with the Square Trade Agreement. Thank you

Rated 1 out of 5 by from warranty for laptop When I purchased my laptop from QVC the customer service agent never told me that the warranty was from a third party warranty. I was asked if I wanted to purchase the warranty period. When I called them to ask about getting a button ,and rubber strip fixed. The man I spoke to told me that I had to go on line set up an account with them prove I paid for the computer back up all my stuff from it wipe it so my info could not be seen then after I was approved I would need to sent it in. This was just to much. I cancelled the rest of my warranty,and from now on I will be smarter when I buy something I will contact the actual company myself to get a warranty from them. When you know better you do better. I now know to ask questions. Costly mistake on my part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy. Waste of money. I bought a laptop from QVC 6 months ago. I was told by buying this extra insurance I didn't have to worry about my laptop. Everything was covered. I also have a 2 yr HP tech support. I contacted HP and they want me to pay $50 upfront and $15 each month to help me. Square Trade which I paid $159 said this isn't something they cover. They only cover if it falls out the window and all broken or i spill something on it but not programming problems. QVC says sorry your 30 days are long gone. We can't help you. So I am stuck with a nonworking laptop. Very disappointed with this product and the company's that are involved. We not going to buy anything else from any of these company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Square Trade is worth the extra money. We bought 2 laptops from QVC for our kids and got the service contract for peace of mind. We had an issue with a power surge frying one of the laptops. Square Trade has us send it in. The parts were on back order, so they sent us a check because it was taking longer than anticipated to repair. The repair was unsuccessful, so they are sending us our purchase price for the laptop. I am very please with the service the Square Trade provided, I recommend it to everyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no stars are recommended I have this coverage for all of the electronics that I've bought through QVC. I'm trying to file a claim online and the site isn't working properly. This is the most ridiculous service ever. I don't have time to sit on the phone and answer a thousand questions about myself, the product, the blood type of my first born child....I just want to be able to do this online. A non-functioning website is problematic for your customers and also time consuming. Never again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointment I bought this as a part of the Dell package. I can say I was loyal to Dell until this recent purchase. So what I found out about Square Trade is that when you call them they like for you to go online to start you claim so they can deny it immediately in the email. I started having issues with my computer in June of this year and I called Square Trade a total of 4 times. The first time they told me since my computer was still under warranty I needed to call the Manufacturer. I did and Dell said it was a software issue and not hardware and it was not covered under the warranty but they tried everything to get me to purchase a $300 3 yr software warranty. I called Square Trade back and a nice lady helped me reset my computer manually because I could not access the internet to have her handle it remotely, so after several hours she got me going. I was excited because I am a college student and all my work is on my laptop. Anyway, after we reset the system every day my computer would not keep the updates. I could only access my emails and the internet none of my programs worked because when we wiped the system I could no reenter the original system keys I used to set up the system the first time So not windows, Microsoft office, OMG nothing worked. After 2 more calls to Square Trade and one more call to Dell. I asked SquareTrade , when does my warranty with you begin. Because you are not helping me and I cannot figure out why I paid you for the first year if you won't help me until my warranty is over next year. They finally called Dell with me on the line and Dell agreed to take my computer in. By this time it was completely dead and I could not turn it on the warranty was set to expire on Tues 9/28 and they just fixed it last week. I am expecting it to be delivered any day now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best laptop I've purchased Superb buy. Computer is fast startup, has lighted keyboard, 12 gig ram and 2 terabyte hard drive. Bought 2, one for me and one for my daughter in college. Not really fond of Windows 10, but getting used to it.
