Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and they Work! Got this as a Christmas present for my husband who immediately tested it out and LOVED them. Since this is not for a child (well sort of haha) the item not standing up to drops etc is not an issue. He said the view is extremely clear and he can see quite far and he loved all the different settings. If you want to make a big kid happy - get these. They do not disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product Totally worth tbe money, one thing to mention is that when the ir is turned on, just one side of the bulb is turning red: This is NORMAL, i realizes that after reading the instructions. Just test, will update if anything noticed. First impression is very positive. Just hope it can last some time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Good...Not Bad Yes this is plastic. I did not get this for small kids. I bought this for both my older kids, 41 & 45. So they could take it camping with them. They loved it !! All the features it has is pretty good with the different modes, ghost, recon, night and another I cant remember. They do have small kids. When I gave this to them I explained that this is a toy....BUT....not a toy. They did take it camping and saw mice scurring around the grounds camp site and a stray cat in the trees...My youngest son held his phone up to the view finder and took a picture of his wife and son sitting at the picnic table, at night, using the night vision mode and it turned out pretty good ! Use in backyard ,catch the night critters that come out, like possums, raccoons, cats or a person !!! They do work.! Now I gave this to them and not their kids, and they understand that because of the fragility of the plastic and you could break them easily. I gave them a protective case or bag to store it in so it doesn't get damaged or scratched. There is another version of this on the market that take pictures and video using a sim card. but way more expensive. I have bought 4 of these. For what they do, its worth it. But don't give it to a small child. Your bucks will be gone in seconds if they are rough or drop it. 5 stars because I think its fun and interesting ...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had a feeling this would be going back.... Somehow I just figured that this item was going to be a bit sturdier and of higher quality, but then, it is only $49.95. You get what you pay for. 30 minutes with the kids and this will be destroyed. The plastic is cheap and flimsy, the fit and finish is poor. It's going back.
