Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my owl! I bought this to help keep birds out of my horse barn. He is mounted at the entrance and his head swivels in the sunlight. Nothing is a hundred percent when you are dealing with house sparrows but I think I have fewer birds nesting. I may get a second one to keep the neighbors's cat away from my deck. I have to say this solar owl is realistic and a bit creepy when he stares at me. Even if he didn't work, he would be a good addition to any garden just because he is detailed and realistic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty realistic Really looks more realistic than I imagined. Since the wind and solar keeps his head moving different directions when you least expect it. I believe this will work. Just received it but will let you know I set it on our back porch until I could place it permanently somewhere in the garden and its actually keeping critters away from the back porch.. I may go back for another one. I will try this out for awhile first. Whatever works,I think this may be it..His eyes are really creepy which is a good thing.
