Snow Joe 40V iONMAX 18" Cordless Snow Blower is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 306.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother with cordless....... I got my 1st unit in the fall of 2019. It failed after one use and contacted Snow Joe - they were great and replaced it no charge and no shipping costs, etc. Used the new unit a few light snows last year then once this season when the unit recently failed again. Battery fully charged - no issue there. Unit started, did one run of 3" snow, then stopped. It will not run the blade even thought the lights and chute work. Giving up and moving back to gas powered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked 2 1/2 times for snow removal - then nothing I received this as a gift for Christmas. We did not get substantial enough snow at first to try it out. I took it out for two different clearings of modest (2-3 inches of snow) and it worked very well. I took it out for its last outing the third time for another 3 inches (all three were dry, cold snows). It started clearing snow. Then, all of a sudden it just stopped throwing snow. At first, it was like the other two times where it lost power due to the battery running out. But, the battery was quite fully charged. The light turned on and the shoot was able to be turned. But, the auger would not spin. I heard the click that occurs when you push the safety button followed by pulling the bar. But, no motion on the auger. I picked up the unit and noticed a large amount of rattling sound coming from inside the unit. I am assuming something broke inside. I will need to connect with support now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Undependable, but great customer service. Including the original purchase, Snow Joe sent me 3 of these. The first one would start and stop constantly (mostly stop). It was impossible to make any progress, even in light plowable snow. The second one worked most of the time until it stopped working while still under warranty. The third arrived less than a month ago. I put the fully charged battery in and nothing, so Snow Joe sent me a new battery. After charging, I plugged it in and the snow blower worked fine except it had a high pitched, very loud noise. It worked for several snowfalls of fluffy 3-5" snow. Got another nuisance snow, stuck in a fully charged battery and the light and discharge chute worked, but the snow blower wouldn't start. Called customer service and they're shipping me another, newer model that takes 2 batteries. In terms of stars, I see that the one they are sending now has fewer but less favorable reviews. I have to hope for the best though. Every time I called customer service, there was very little wait time and they were very responsive. Unfortunately, the miles on my car are starting to add up and I'm getting to know the UPS folks all too well. Even the battery will not fit into a drop box, so I have to drive about 20 miles to the nearest UPS store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product failed with minutes of use This product was easy to assemble ,lite weight but when the time came to use it on 4 inches of snow it stopped working (got 5 minutes of use) I sent email Feb 1,2021 and got a return email the next day, they do have a 2 year warranty so they do stand by the product I registered my Snowblower ASAP on the website on Feb 5 I got an email stating they will deliver a new snowblower and for me and to send them the new broken one ....I am curious to see how long this takes, this sucks cause it snowing now calling for 3 to 6 inches

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 times using and it died Good product for a few inches of snow. Except mine stopped working on only the 3rd use. $100/plow of my sidewalk. Should have just paid someone to do it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It stopped working at second use. Light and chute connection functional, but not snowblower. Contacted Snow Joe, told would send new machine, not battery and charger. Told would receive in 3-5 days. After 7 days emailed Snow Joe, they emailed unit not available so would need to send complete unit with battery and charger. Called to confirm, was confirmed. Also, told complete snowblower set not sent. When asked why since knew first snowblower failed-no explanation. Had I not followed up, I would still assume it was coming. I had confirmation that blower was sent now. So I will wait how long and 3 snowstorms later to get the Snow Joe. Hopefully, it will function properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work, service slow I purchased this item toward the beginning of winter. The first time I used it, on 1 inch of powdery snow, it died after 3 minutes. I did a warranty claim and it took 3 weeks for them to send me a replacement. The replacement worked for 3 snowfalls before it died again. I just tried to file another warranty claim! This is ridiculous.
