Rated 1 out of 5 by Washed Out Turquoise Stone I ordered this ring in size 6. The turquoise in the ring I received had white blotches in the stone. Also, I agree with the other reviewer. The black rhodium made the amethyst looked washed out and they didn't sparkle. The gold amount was fair, but the ring is petite. I have petite hands and this ring didn't even stand out on my hand. The ring did run true to size, though. 01-30-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful This is a beautiful ring, the best Sleeping Beauty yet. Just love it. The turquoise is lovely and the Amethyst sparkles. So pleased 01-02-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by On The Fence with This Sleeping Beauty Ring Turquoise is one of my birthstones, and I've started collecting it, so when I saw this ring at QVC's website I placed an order. My ring arrived quickly. First, the good aspects: there's a substantial amount of gold, the design is unique and almost vintage looking, quality seems very good. Turquoise and amethyst make a good combination. That said, the black rhodium changes the color of the amethyst, rendering it a much paler, almost pinkish purple. Next, the prongs on the ring truly are pointy (as shown), and I'm thinking they'll catch on clothing... especially sweaters. The turquoise itself is a lovely shade of unmarred, robin's egg blue, as to be expected with Sleeping Beauty--it's very small. My biggest surprise is how a nearly $300 ring was packaged. It was literally in a bubble wrap baggie, tucked inside of a velvet pouch, stuck in a box. In other words, it would NOT be gift-able. It'd be embarrassing to present the ring in such a way. Honestly? Although the gold isn't skimpy, I'm not convinced this ring is worth anywhere near it's QVC price and might wind up sending mine back. 08-24-14
