Rated 2 out of 5 by No As Advertised The watering globes pictured are much more colorful than the actual globes I received. I watched the entire on-air presentations and followed all the usage hints presented in the demo exactly. However, all the water in my mosaic globes ran thru my plants in less than 24 hours and collected in the saucer at the bottom of the plant. The reason I am giving these globes 2 stars is because using them as decorative elements at the base of my plants did add a little sparkle to my flower pots. If you are buying these globes to water your plants hassle free, and think your plants will only receive as much water as your plants need, this is not the case and you will be very disappointed. Either the globe's tube will clog up with dirt when inserted and does not allow water to drip into the soil thru the watering tube or if the tube is not clogged, all the water in the mosaic globe is released in less than 24 hours after filling the globe with water and placing it in the soil of the plant. So if you are thinking, like I was, by using these globes, the plants only get water as needed, this is not the case at all...the water keeps dripping whether the plant needs the water or not. Rated 5 out of 5 by Plant Bling This is my second set of these Water Globes I get so many compliments at my home I purchased the second set for work. I was hesitant after reading the reviews but I tried them anyway.Yes, they can get clogged but the water does get through. I have not in either set experienced any of my plants being dry. Love them they are so pretty especially when the sunlight hits them. Great purchase! 08-19-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty globes These are pretty. Having used water globes before I had no unrealistic expectations. They really don't water plants well but are very pretty which is why I ordered them. Good value for the price. House jewelry. 08-18-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great Idea, but... Though a terrific price and a wonderful plan for the watering ball, even if only as a decorative accent piece. If were not for the fact that mine as well, have nearly no discernible variation in the color of the glass. What should have been a beautiful, even subtle patches of color, are near non existent. Would have given a 5 if not nearly dull monotone glass. 08-03-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Beautiful. Also seem to help keep the kitties out of my planters, as they were digging before & now they are not. I will order more. 08-03-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Buy I read the reviews before making this purchase, and took the advice of one reviewer to poke a hole in the dirt as far as I wanted the water globe to go; Voila! It works! And I'm happy to go on vacation and know that my plants will thrive. This is an ingenious idea. 08-02-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty Garden Gift I bought these to use as a Christmas gift. Don't know yet who will get them but they will add a nice glow to flowerbed or walk. If they don't like them, I will keep them for me! 07-15-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Pretty I'm keeping mine only because they are so pretty. I didn't realize that I needed to poke a hole before sticking it into the soil - my bad. Really should have been evident to me before I put a clog in the stem. No big problem. I then pushed the dirt up into the stem and water was able to come out. I put mine in a large pot that has a hydrangea in it that was a bit dry. By the next day it was still dry. It's is quite heavy when filled and certainly wasn't going to stand straight up which would have been very pretty. Ultimately, I wound up watering my plant. I have some potted plants on the front porch and will place them there so the sun can hit them & make 'em shine. I gave 3 stars for the pretty but if I had to star them on function alone I would have to give only 1 or none (which is not possible to do). 07-13-16
