K28429 - Set of 10 Seal Tight Reusable Food Bag Pull Ties 3.7 5 162 162
Strong and Stay Put These are well-made and have held up in durability, but they should be longer, as it can be difficult to pull the bags, etc. through. A variety of lengths in the set would have been ideal. I would purchase a set of longer length if available. 02-23-13
Great product! I love these - they replace those pesky, hard-to-use twist ties that often don't stay in place. I especially like them on bread bags, the large bags that oranges and grapefruit come in, and any product that come in a similar type bag. I have rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and find the pull ties easy to use, after a few tries to get the hang of how they work. For example, after I've used a third or more slices of a loaf of bread, I cut off a section of the bag near the opening, so there is less plastic to push through the pull tie, making them even easier to use. I highly recommend this product - they keep my food fresh. 12-12-12
Handy little ties Nice product for the price...I'm still getting used to how they work.... 11-25-12
junk I did not return this product to qvc because this was an american product; but the pull ties can not be pull hard enough to keep the food fresh. They are difficult to operate and i do not have health hand issues. I think the inventor needs to go back to the drawing board. 09-22-12
WONDERFUL This is a great idea and so easy to use. I think they will last forever and you don't have to hunt for a twisty all the time, Great gift also. 08-29-12
Pretty good... I have used these pull ties twice since receiving them; one on a plastic bag (veggies) and one on a paper bag (crackers). They have worked each time. It does take a minute to maneuver the edges of the bags into the opening and you may need to fold the bag over so it will fit the length, so I under why other reviewers would call for a wider, longer opening. That being said, I find the mechanism slides easily and tightly. In all, I would say this is a pretty good (functional and handy) product, and I can't wait to gift one to a friend. 08-29-12
Good design idea These do exactly what they say they will do, but they are little bulky which makes them a little stiff. I have used them twice and forgot I had them. It takes a slight bit more effort to use them, but they do work. I'm usually in a hurry when I am putting things away. I still tend to reach for a chip clip or a clothes pin or twisty tie rather than grabbing these. Pull ties: grab out of drawer, open key chain, remove one of the ties, mash button open and slide to other end of loop, maneuver food bags through opening, push button to slide down onto bag. Try doing that on a loaf of bread a few dozen times. Chip clip: pick it up, squeeze open, place on bag, let go. It is a good idea, but needs to be just a little more pliable and not so stiff. Chip bags are a little stiffer than bread bags and they take some doing to get through the opening without crushing the contents. My dogs think it is a toy for them. So do toddlers. 08-28-12
Fantastic!! I do not understand the poor reviews. Yes, they do take a few seconds more than those awful twist ties which come on bread and rolls. However once you get the hang of using them they are absolutely fantastic. At first I was grumpy because they were not quick and fast like the wire and tab things that come on all bread bags. After about a week I was 10000% convinced these seals are a great invention -and- easy to use. I am a germophobe so being able to put in the dishwasher between bags of bread works great for me. I am now giving them to all family members and so far everyone is loving them - after they slow down, smell the coffee and use them. Give them a go folks, you will not be sorry. 08-25-12
Disappointed I was really looking forward to these but I am very disappointed in them. They are hard to use especially on stiffer plastic. Seems to me that a softer more pliable plastic and larger loop hole would make them easier to use. They work ok for bread wrappers but the type of plastic found with frozen potatoes is very difficult to compress into these ties. I won't be ordering any more of these. 08-19-12
Love These! I bought these for X-mas presents for all my coworkers at work. They are very practical. I get a lot of use out of them and find them much better than searching for twist ties! Love them! Thanks! 08-17-12
Good Invention This is a very good invention, but the 3 stars is because it takes so long to put these on, as to where I can grab a tie string and have the item tied in a second. Sorry for only 3 stars. 08-08-12
