The Lights Don’t Work
Beautiful pillar.... the light set included are shockingly terrible quality.... the batteries cannot fit properly; therefore, no connection for the lights to work

Disappointed
I always watched and liked Valerie Hill’s pieces but never purchased any. I saw these pieces and I thought I am going to purchase them because I needed them. I liked that it had mini lights rather then a candle so it would give off a little more light then candles. I received them and was so disappointed in the quality. They are cheap glass, very thin which I did not care for. Then I noticed the paint and glitter on the top and bottom of the pillars was missing in spots and some red color on the white frosted part. I had purchased the Red color. The battery pack is also very cheaply made. Needless to say, they are being returned! I will be Leary on purchasing Valerie pieces in the future because of this. First time and I was disappointed.
I have been a customer since 1990 and I noticed over the recent years that the quality of some items on QVC has been cheaply made. What happened to the QUALITY CONTROL TEAM that QVC states that have? QVC use to stand for: QUALITY, VALUE & CONVENIENCE, I am not sure anymore.

Pretty, but be careful
These are really pretty when lit, however, the outside of the pillars, where the lattice crisscrosses, have some very sharp points on them. I picked one up and got poked hard enough to draw blood. Maybe it was just mine, but use caution.

Received broken
These are pretty but one was broken. The gold I ordered is sold out so no replacements available. The glass is thin and packaging was not very good. Not surprised it was broken. Called customer service and they wanted to credit only one. I explained I would send back for full refund because I needed 2. They finally credited back original payment because they did not want me to send back broken glass. I’ve ordered many items from QVC and several Valerie Par Hill items and do not normally have a problem.

Beautiful -even better in person
These are just amazing. I got the silver and are so nice, they sparkle just right and I love them. Only issue was I was missing one light set. I called and customer service sent out a replacement. Not a big deal and I got it very fast. But just make sure you have both strands of lights. The paint work and glass on the pillars tho is just stunning.
