Rated 5 out of 5 by Changed my life! I know, it sounds silly, but seriously, this vacuum changed my life. I previously paid over $500 for a dyson pet that was nothing but trouble and eventually couldn't even be repaired any more...it died after about 24 months. I needed something I could depend on after investing in, and the Sebo is just that. This is powerful, GREAT on wood and carpet, and has no problem with my Golden Retriever, Pug, and kitty who all shed ridiculously. The attachments are easy to use and switching out the bag couldn't be easier- which is awesome because I hate that with the bagless vacuums there is a dust cloud that plumes when you empty into the garbage. I can easily carry this up and down the stairs and best of all, full power it is so quiet the dogs don't even lose it when I vacuum! I'm smitten. 12-11-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love, love, love this vacuum! After 10 years my old Oreck upright died on me. I have Lupus making pushing around any upright painful and difficult at this point in my illness. Decided a canister vac was my best choice. After doing much research online and reading reviews decided to go with a Sebo. Was a bit taken aback by the price, never spent this much on any vacuum but according to the reviews this was a well built machine and should easily last me 15 years with care so took the leap with QVC making it less painful with flex pay. What a wonderful vacuum. It is truly well built which you will realize as soon as you get it out of the box. The suction is amazing and the vacuum is very quiet when operating, a nice plus. The true test for me was this is the easiest vacuum to use, weighs hardly anything and has an ergonomic handle. Even with my Lupus I can vacuum with ease. The bags are large and the vacuum truly uses every inch before needing to be pulled. Don' t hesitate because of the price, it is an awesome machine and you will not be disappointed! 02-06-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Best Best Vac Ever I own the model that this new updated model took the place of, i have owned it for eighteen years. I love this vac. Obviously I can't say enough about it. My husband owns a sew and vac store and we get calls back from customers saying thank you and how much they love it. As a former cleaning woman, in my opinion it's the best. Please don't hesitate to buy. You will never need to go out and buy three of the same vac ever again. Quality Vac. 08-15-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best & last vacuum I'll ever have to buy! Germany really knows how to build an efficient, easy to use long lasting vacuum. My carpet is plush, and this vacuum glides right over it, no more working up a sweat pushing and pulling like my old one. Probably will buy the extension tube & "fresh packets". 04-03-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Elite Cleaning Machine I never liked the messiness of a bagless. And I've had some decent bagged vacuum cleaners like the Hoover Windtunnel. But when I saw this Mercedes Benz of vacuum cleaners available on flexpay, I knew it would be worth it and the only way I could afford such a luxury. A vacuum cleaner that's a luxury? Yes, and worth every penny. It is a joy to vacuum, the easiest vacuum to move from room to room. I turn it on and move from one end of my house to other without having to plug, unplug, turn off, turn on. The suction is amazing. It sucks up all the dog hair on my area rugs without sucking up the rug and cleans my carpets beautifully. Also sucks the dirt and dog hair off my tile floors without scratching. I've had it for about 8 weeks now and I still haven't had to change the vacuum bag- and that's with having 3 shedding dogs in the house. Some reviewer said they weren't able to get the vacuum to roll over the cord, but if I need to, it rolls right over it. Love this machine and expect I will not need another vacuum for the next 15 years. 02-21-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really fantastic The best way I can describe this thing is to say that, compared to any other consumer level vacuum I've ever used (Dyson, Hoover, et al), this thing is like a piece of industrial grade machinery, whereas those were just silly little toys. It's like a freaking military grade vacuum. In terms of build quality and performance, it makes my $500+ Dyson DC-50 look laughably, embarrassingly pathetic. The difference in quality really is that stark. It's pretty mind blowing. Or, well, as mind blowing as a vacuum cleaner can get I suppose. The suction is nuts. I have a decent sized shop vac in the garage - which doubles as a leaf blower - and I'm pretty sure this thing moves more air. Or at least it moves it faster at the nozzle. When the power head is running, you can hear the beater brush slow down as you ramp up the vacuum speed and it sucks the entire unit down harder against the carpet. It's insane. Very quiet. When I first turned it on, I thought it was on its slowest setting because it was so quiet. It took me a few seconds of fiddling to realize that it was on its highest setting. This is my first canister vacuum, and I can see it's going take a bit of getting used to. I pulled the canister over a couple times yanking on the hose while moving around. Haven't quite figured out what to do with the hose while I'm vacuuming (hold on to it? let it hang in front of me? behind me?). Storing it is a little different than an upright as there are loose bits and pieces to stow. The only thing I wish it had was a straight up on/off switch on the wand handle. You can turn the unit on and off, you just have to go through like 8 different speeds (fastest -> off, off -> fastest) using the + and - buttons. Mildly annoying, but not a deal breaker or anything. 12-20-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Vacuum Ever I have purchased 2 different dyson vacuums which both broke before they were 1 year old. This vacuum is GREAT. I would recommend it to anyone with animals. Comparing the dyson with the sebo airbelt there is no comparison. The sebo airbelt has dyson beat by a HUGH margin. Finally a vacuum that does not fall apart and not made with CHEAP plastic. Thanks so much 11-23-14
